New head coach at Dwyer former Cane Al Shipman

Maybe we’ll actually sign a kid from Dwyer now? Are they even good anymore?

For real though, I was a big fan of Al Shipman back in the 90’s. Good for him.

Gonna be interesting to see if Shipman can use the Academy of Finance at Dwyer to get out of zone kids there like they have in the past. Dwyer has been coached by Myron Rolle’s brother the last couple of years

Al Shipman was coaching at Palm Beach Central before, good for him getting a new gig.

Al was at Lakes, but they parted ways at the end of 2021. He was enjoying some time away from football, but Dwyer was too tough to turn down. I know Dwyer has been down, but I think he will get some of the kids that have been leaving PBC for greener pastures the last couple of years to play for him there.

The Lee kid might see his recruitment pick up...

Dwyer can get back rather quickly if they can pull some kids.

I think Myron Rolles brother was the coach...good dude.

I dont know like some one said the talent level has dropped some in the 561 as before...not sure what their kids are doing up there...but you would have to really eval to find some diamonds in the rough up that way now.

This just strikes me as odd. Are we talking a recent trend? Maybe a few down years in a row?

Yeah.. im keeping an eye on him,

Idk what happened with Coach Rolle, he seemed like a nice person but i don't think he was getting it done.

as far as the talent, i think its more spread out with some the private schools recruiting kids like Benjamin, they never had anybody now took Elam and that QB i think for 2024 or 2023. but then again thats only 2 kids.. lol

Now that i think about it i think, with the emergence of Lacross and the influx of northerners Football isn't as big here in the the last at least 5 years.

I went to my nephews flag football game in a new sports complex they built in gardens and i would say 80% of the fields were being used for lacrosse. Also noticed it in Jupiter too.
