When you’re unranked and lose to the number 8 team by 4, you’ll generally move up when no other games have been played. Florida should have dropped more

By darn near beating a top 10 team. Why the **** would we drop? Yeah, if we were #4 going in, we'd drop. Being ranked out of the top 25 and going toe to toe with the #8 team means you are not THAT much worse than the #8 team. 24 might be too low, but it's a start.

Those must've been the same people who had UF ranked 8th in the 1st place.

UF is a horrible coached team. That should've never been ranked.

I understand it was the 1st game of the season but they were a seasoned team ranked 8th and was finding every way possible to lose. To an unranked team that couldn't find a way to win.

Anybody who saw the game knows we played tough and could've won despite as plethora of mistakes, many of which can be corrected as the season goes along and we get more experience.

There was also evidence of talent. Yeah, we have areas where we don't have enough (like OL) that can change, maybe by next year.

Still we were not blown out like some thought we would. Almost won. Whether UF should have been number 8, who knows, but they're definitely top 20 and we almost won.

I thought they were very well coached, especially on defense. We couldn't stop their pass rush and couldn't run for big gains if it wasn't the wildcat.
