You could name way more Co-coordinators to good coaches that flopped then the other way. I remember when we got Jimbo's OC. That worked out great!

Clearly low on their list.

I like what Michigan State does, but not sure this is going to hit. Michigan State was BAD last year. This year, improved, but the D had some duds. Harlon is NOT Narduzzi.

Agree. It would be something if he got Nardouzi. That is the name I associate with spartan defense. Given the mess FSU is in and the HC they had to settle for, it is a respectable hire but hardly earth shaking.

Would be cool to see him with athletic linebackers and safeties instead of the usual guys running a 5.0 in his system.
 
There's something called internet Asperger's and NYtateofgay definitely has it. It's one thing to troll on another team's board for a week when there's a rivalry (although I don't even understand that) - it's another thing to do that for years and thousands of posts like this guy.
 
I think this guy was a good hire to be honest. However, I also think Willie Taggart was a terrible hire. A good D.C under a bad head coach won't seem very good.

Has zero track record as a full DC. That’s a fact. May be good. May be a disaster. Zero track record as a full DC. Track record is as a CO-DC for a couple of years. Again, not what big time programs do. Kind of thing Miami used to do and hopefully won’t do again.
