Good pickup.

At the very least the Seminoles will field a solid defense.

Gave up a combined 125 points in their 3 losses to ND, OSU and Northwestern
 
People acting like this guy is the second coming of Buddy Ryan are trolls. He may be great, he may not. He is an unknown as a DC. He has never run his own defense. Longtime position coach who became co-DC 3 years ago when Nardouzi went to Pitt.
 
If we had made this hire this board would be in meltdown mode.

He might be great but hasn't proven ****.

It's a respectable hire, don't get me wrong.. but slam dunk? Be for real. Maybe if it was as their DB coach. He's been a Co-DC for 3 seasons, taking over a well oiled machine. We will see how it turns out.

Ain't scared.
 
Don't get the hype for this guy...I think he is about as bad of a hire as FSU could have made with with the money and cachet that the program has. Good for us.
 
Curious hire. As others have said with the FSU name and money certainly didn't see this being their choice at all.

Narduzzi was considered an elite DC at MSU and his defenses at Pitt seem fairly mediocre. Dantonio is the real DC.

Good DB coach though, MSU has been producing pro's with low level recruits
