Matt Campbell, if I had to pick a name from current HCs.

But most all someone who can build a program. More than a guy with a thick playbook. I like all the work former HC Richt did with the Paradise Camps, work in the local youth leagues, etcetera. I want to keep all this and build the organization infrastructure up even more.

I don’t know if Cristobal should be the guy.
But I really hope we approach this search like this is Thebes best job and are not timid about who we should approach just because we think they may not come.

Proven commodity in South Florida. We need an ace recruiter to really compete with the Bamas, UGAs and Clemsons who come poach our talent. If Mario can just win recruiting, all the program needs to do is surround him with quality assistants to develop the talent. I think he understands that about himself now.

I think that's the best model moving forward in this new era where you have to compete with the $$ Nick Saban and these other programs have. Campbell is cool but he's unproven from a big-program and big-time recruiting standpoint. He's like Scott Frost in the sense that you don't know what his brand of ball will look like when he hits the big-leagues.

From what I have seen Oregon locked him in pretty tight after Taggart dipped on them. They didn’t want that to happen again.

I know he was ****ed about not getting serious interest last time. I was told he’d never come back.

Word is it’s his job to turn down. I don’t think it will be Butch and if Cristobal says no. I hope we looked at Kiffin, Campbell, Babers.
 
Kiffin can call an offense but his leadership is in question. Too much of a risk

Romberg said he spoke with him a while back and he holds a lot of animosity towards Miami for how he was passed up last time. Because of that, along with the fact that Oregon doesn’t want to lose him, I’m not sure if he would come.

I said it three years ago and I still believe he would be the right hire.

Give him 3 years, let’s see what happens.

It was butchs job three years ago until mr came open . Not sure how I’d feel about that

Im tired of this University offering settling with national searches.

That's cool, but he's not gonna beat Bama at Oregon. I say he flirts at the very least for a bump in salary because i'm sure Oregon would be willing to match.
