New Barry Jackson Piece Shows We’re Fvcked

Further evidence of your insanity.

A. You complained about "LGBTQ upgrades".
B. I asked "what upgrades".
C. You provided random link, which only cited 14 new bathrooms as what could be considered an "upgrade".
D. I mocked the fact that anyone would think that 14 renovated bathrooms are some sort of objectionable "upgrade"
E. You got upset.
F. You now try to turn the tables, and accuse me of being upset. I applauded the renovated bathrooms.

You are trying to flip YOUR problem with "LGBTQ upgrade" into me being upset about bathrooms. I'm thrilled with the new bathrooms. I hope UM builds 10,000 new individual gender-neutral bathrooms, one for everyone on campus.
You have issues. You didn't read the entire article. It listed a lot more than 14 bathrooms. Good try though. Still waiting to hear where I am wrong about Bass's contribution to the case

Here’s 1. 2 and 3 are in thread. Need help?

That is sickening. I know you don't want to look at it as liberal BS but it is. This goes way beyond politics, the pathetic liberals are pandering to nut jobs.
So wait, we suck because of the ****?????
Sure and **** doesn't help with recruits. LMAO

Someone needs to Baker Act you.

You make vague accusations and then provide no support.

You need observation.
From UM website:

"Bass, who has her law degree from the University of Miami, led the effort to overturn Florida's ban on *** adoption"

Found this from ACLU LGBT Project website:

Martin Gill is represented by Cooper and James Esseks, Director of the ACLU LGBT Project, and Legal Director Randall Marshall and staff attorney Shelbi Day of the ACLU of Florida

Why isn't Bass even mentioned? Because she didn't represent the Plaintiff

Oh look:

The children are represented by Hilarie Bass, Elliot Scherker, Elaine Walter, Brigid Cech Samole and Ricardo Gonzalez of Greenberg Traurig, and Charles Auslander, an attorney and former District Administrator for DCF.

How can you claim to lead the effort to overturn than ban on *** adoption when you were representing children?

Honestly, I don't think I complained about the upgrades. I'm fine with them. It that is how I came across, I apologize.

Edit: Ah I see I said "upgrade" in my original post, and you took that as "facilities upgrade". But it wasn't just bathrooms. It was new housing, new staff, new language, new alumni department, new mentor program, new staff program, etc etc

But again, I have no problem with the LGBTQ stuff. It's just the fact that he neglected everything else but Inclusivity issues

There is no "new housing".

There is ONE "new staff".

The "new language" is a global search-and-replace function on Microsoft Word.

There is no "new alumni department". It's a designation.

A "new mentor program". You know how mentors work, right? So if you are a *** UM alum, and you want to mentor a *** UM student, you can do so. Doesn't cost a penny. Administered by the same **** "mentoring" staff that we already had.

A "new staff program". It was a couple of seminars. Guess who leads it.

Again, YOU COMPLAINED. You cited "LGBTQ upgrades" in the same list as Hilarie Bass's "LANDMARK" legal case, which you are still afraid to cite by name.

Finally, Frenk didn't "neglect everything else". Some things can be done quickly, other things take more time. For instance, it didn't take Frenk much time to build himself a fancy throne for graduation ceremonies.

I'm not sure why you are bothered by Frenk's rapid action to address LGBTQ issues that should have been addressed 30 years ago. While I am not ***, I had many friends at UM who were, and everything that Frenk did (excluding the bathrooms, which are a much more recent political phenomenon) should have been done a long time ago.

The fact that Frenk got so much done so quickly for LGBTQ issues is a reflection of how easily fixable those issues were.

Afraid to cite it? I've talked about it plenty of times on here. You said i was full of crap. I asked what your opinion on it was? You had no clue what case it was

You are a true nut-job.

So the entire basis of your pages-long diatribe is that...Hilarie Bass didn't represent the PARENTS, she represented the CHILDREN. And for that, you are going to call her resume into question. Even as you try to blame her for the outcome.

Hmmmm. Loving v. Virginia. What if Richard and Mildred Loving were represented by different attorneys? And what if one case was concluded before the other? Would that make a difference?

And why are you so obsessed with the attorneys of record? Aren't there other ways in which attorneys can lead an effort? Legislative? Political Action Committee? Fund-raising? Amicus brief?

This is why you are crazy. You are OBSESSED with somehow questioning a line in Hilarie Bass's bio. Because she represented the children, not the parents.

Get over it.

I have and never will have issues with the LGBTQ upgrades. I will draw attention to the fact that we are neglecting what built what we have today football, and compare it to what we are putting out attention towards

It's not the basis at all. You said I was full of crap. You wanted proof of her not being a part of the case. There it is

Contrary to your delusional belief, I don't read all of your posts. I don't care how many "plenty of times" you've talked about something, and I don't care if you think it's beneath you to cite the case to which you are referring, but I do not have some encyclopedic recall of all of your prior insane posts.

I did not ask for "proof of her not being a part of the case".

I said you were full of crap (and you are full of crap) for claiming that support for UM constitutes support for what Hilarie Bass does FOR HER LAW FIRM.

Here is what you wrote:

"Every time you donate to UM just remember what you are contributing to:

-The 6 digit salaries of Frenks children who don’t even have a responsibilty
- LGBTQ upgrades on campus
- Research efforts of Bass, being assisted by Law School students to give mothers the right to make their children transsexual
- Figjting for the right of convicted child molesters to adopt children "

And, yes, you ARE "full of crap" for claiming that a charitable donation to UM funds:

- "research efforts" to give mothers the right to make their children transsexual
and
- "fighting for the right of convicted child molesters to adopt children"

Neither of those things are true.

Hilarie Bass worked for Greenberg Traurig. Those efforts were funded by Greenberg Traurig. Not by charitable contributions to UM.

THAT is why you are full of crap. Not because Hilarie Bass was, or was not, a "leader" in the effort.

Because your false claims about where your charitable contributions to UM are spent is just a big lie.

But we did use resources with Georgulas's case in Dallas just like we used resources in the Gill case (but with the children)

Looks like Miami liberals are trying to turn the school into UC Berkeley. That should go over well with the tough south Florida recruits. I will no longer be upset when the kids go to Bama or Clemson, maybe they get it too.

I can't believe the ACC is OK with this ****, I just can't.

They brought us in to raise the profile of the conference, not stink it up and lose to all the lousy teams they were trying to overcome.

FSU has sucked, but at least they brought a championship and are ripping Band-Aids. We're sitting here twirling our hair and wondering why the phone doesn't ring with more money.

Who is "we"?

And what "resources" were used? UM is not providing free legal services to anyone. If a professor, or a law student, wants to have a side-hustle and work for a local law firm, they are free to do so.

Again, provide the PROOF. Provide the SPECIFICS that a charitable contribution to UM was actually spent on those legal cases. You can't. You won't.

I don't care what UM law students and UM law professors do on their own time. You still won't say what "resources" were used.

Again, like Mister Owl, you are missing the point.

I never said that Frenk did not do or support those changes at UM.

I AM STATING that Mister Owl's claim, that your charitable contributions to UM are being spent on those things, to the exclusion of Athletics, is a lie.

You can choose to donate money to the Athletic Department. You can choose to designate that your money will be spent for the Athletic Department. You can choose to donate money to UM to be spent for non-gender-specific bathrooms if you so decide. Your donations do not have to go to some general fund where Julio Frenk gets to decide whether to build a *** bathroom or an Indoor Practice Facility.

LMFAO, well I thinks it’s a waste of time, and personally would not want to donate to a academic institution delving into such projects, because I disagree with their priorities

As for choosing where to donate, I donated to the Match Marcus campaign and none of that went to athletics although that is how it was marketed

I was also not given great confidence that donations to Hurricane Club go 100% to athletics. Their is even a disclosure they send you that says it can be allocated anywhere
