New Barry Jackson Piece Shows We’re Fvcked

So what part was I full of crap about? What is your opinion of her involvement?

My opinion is that any attorney can be involved in any case they choose to be involved in. As for this mysterious unnamed case, first you say she was involved, then you say she overstated whether she was on the team, then you say she is partially responsible for the outcome.

To be honest, you have a serious problem. You have some conspiracy theory in your head, but you are not sharing the specifics of your delusion with everyone.

At any rate, this is what you don't understand about attorneys, that the issues that they are involved with sometimes lead to messy and somewhat unpleasant results. I have a friend who is an immigration attorney, and some of the people he represents are...less than ideal. That doesn't mean that I brand him as a horrible person, or accuse him of using his alma mater's law students as forced labor.

What in God's name are you talking about? You said I was full of crap. What am I full of crap about?

It's beyond obvious that you have no clue about the LANDMARK case in which you call me full of crap. You are upset because I spitteth upon the great Bass Bricks for which you cling on to your prestige. I'm full of crap for saying she wasn't vital to that case? How was she vital to the case when she didn't even represent the plaintiff?

You angry, emotional, and wrong. Frenk started in August or Sepember. This first thing he did was a 100-day listening exercise that revolved around being an inclusive campus that started in early September. And it wasn't just bathrooms. You can stop with that. I have no problem with anything he did. My issue is that he was brought on for two main reasons: fundraising and to help out with a medical facility. Do we need to get into that?

Here is the letter he wrote after his 100 Day listening exercise that BEGAN FIRST FIRST DAY ON THE JOB

You, quite literally, contradict your prior claims when you actually cite facts.

So his "agenda" was fundraising and the med school. Two issues that cannot be solved or fixed in 100 days.

Then, because most people are capable of doing more than one thing at a time, he ALSO conducted an open-minded listening exercise, to hear and identify issues particular to UM with which he was not already familiar.

And then, because some issues are easier and quicker to fix than others, he did a number of things specific to the LGBTQ population, and somehow YOU TURNED THAT INTO Frenk's signature first issue?

YOU WERE THE ONE who referred vaguely to "LGBTQ upgrades". I questioned the "upgrades". "Upgrades" would be the 14 bathrooms. A couple of extra alumni groups or seminars during Orientation do not constitute "upgrades".

So, again, this all comes back to YOU. YOU were the one who whined about "LGBTQ upgrades". I asked YOU to be specific about what you objected to. I did NOT ask you to produce some article that does NOT address what your particular objections are.

Feel free to tell us WHAT "upgrades" you object to. Because if Frenk did more than renovate 14 bathrooms, the article did not specify any other "upgrades". What did Frenk do that hurt you so badly? Did he install concrete butt plugs on all of the campus benches? Come on, be specific.

And, again, no law students were forced to work for Hilarie Bass. You may not like or agree with every case Hilarie Bass has worked on, but it is her right and it does not mean that anyone (or everyone) at UM Law has supported her efforts.

You have serious mental problems. "The great Bass Bricks for which I cling on to my prestige"? What does that even mean?

You made vague claims. I questioned you, and now you don't want to provide specifics. And then you claim I'm the evasive one.

We need to get @RVACane in here for a troll clean-up.

Wrong. You called me out to provide examples. I did. You didn't question me once. You said I was full of crap. I asked what part. You got upset about the bathrooms

Keep lying to yourself like the rest of Hilarie and the law school but she had absolutely nothing to do with that case. She was also an embarrassment to the ABA

Someone needs to Baker Act you.

You make vague accusations and then provide no support.

You need observation.

Need to get a football mind in there to run our football program, Blake James and Jenn strawley are clueless. Bring in alonzo high smith and create a position and let him decides what goes on in the football side of athletics

You would know what the Bass Bricks are if you went to UM Law

“The bricks really are the heart of the law school,” Bass, vice chair of the University of Miami Board of Trustees, said Friday night at a celebratory dedication in that very courtyard now known as the Hilarie Bass Bricks, in honor of the 1981 alumna who has been unwavering in support of her alma mater, most recently with a $1 million gift to the law school.

Further evidence of your insanity.

A. You complained about "LGBTQ upgrades".
B. I asked "what upgrades".
C. You provided random link, which only cited 14 new bathrooms as what could be considered an "upgrade".
D. I mocked the fact that anyone would think that 14 renovated bathrooms are some sort of objectionable "upgrade"
E. You got upset.
F. You now try to turn the tables, and accuse me of being upset. I applauded the renovated bathrooms.

You are trying to flip YOUR problem with "LGBTQ upgrade" into me being upset about bathrooms. I'm thrilled with the new bathrooms. I hope UM builds 10,000 new individual gender-neutral bathrooms, one for everyone on campus.

I spent way more time at Kegs on the Slab/Beer on the Bricks than you ever will.

Honestly, I don't think I complained about the upgrades. I'm fine with them. It that is how I came across, I apologize.

Edit: Ah I see I said "upgrade" in my original post, and you took that as "facilities upgrade". But it wasn't just bathrooms. It was new housing, new staff, new language, new alumni department, new mentor program, new staff program, etc etc

But again, I have no problem with the LGBTQ stuff. It's just the fact that he neglected everything else but Inclusivity issues

Miami's administration doesn't give two shíts about the Football program.

That's why we get so little of the funds allocated & why we keep being a perpetually losing team.

Until the Mangina Flake James & the Funeral home director Julio Frenk are gone, we're not going to be anything more than a bottom barrel ACC team.

It doesn't matter if Diaz gets fired next year because Flake will be hiring the next the coach & he's going to get it wrong because he's a human fúck stick & doesn't deserve the job he has.

Close thread and lock the website.

To sum up: until further notice, we are fvcked and this program is dead man walking.
