So we all have so much respect for Skai Moore and his ability. In honor of the whooping he and his friends will give us I have come up with this idea. We know he wasn't heavily recruited. How about we create the annual "Skai Moore Should've Could've Would've Award" and give it to the recruits we all know could ball out here and would be recruited by a real Miami Coach, but isn't offered or recruited by this staff.

This year's nominees are:

Ronnie Hoggins
Ryan Stanley
R. Fenton (I believe he doesn't have a committable offer)

Feel free to add.

The Joe Brown: Why Did We Take This Guy? award is coming out soon.

I bet if OP was on staff here at CiS, he'd have the testicular fortitude to put a Fire Golden front story up and have it all over social media.

Davis does have an offer and they want him bad. Won't get him though.

Maybe we should make it the Junior Alexis award. Joe Brown was the winner in 2014.

One of the DB's from down here has an offer but it is not committable. Do you know who it was?

I can't stand him. He ruined my team. I never liked when we hired him. You don't hire some tie-wearing clown from TEMPLE to coach the U. You also don't hire a kid straight out of college to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. This may not be a top school anymore but it is a top brand. The man is way out of his league. Always has been.

I also pushed for Student Government to take out an ad in our student newspaper about this clown before the VT game since we had some extra funds for the semester. I was told no and people thought I was stupid and crazy. I just went on my way.

Don't know who that would be.

I know Carlton Davis, DDavis, and Irvin are 3 of our biggest targets down here and we aren't getting any of them.

hilarious thread i'm sure we will revisit this for years to come, now.

If we land Lawson not fussed about Stanley. BUT you watch Hoggins is going to go somewhere and blow up and we are gonna be left here saying i wonder why we didn't take a kid from our backyard who lead the state ( possibly the nation?) in INTs. **** it.

The Black and Decker Al Golden Camp Dust "Bust"er award given to the plethora of misses that come from that waste of money

Aren't we already doing that with Gerod Holliman?

Quincy Wilson could also be a guy. He is annoying and wines a lot and his attitude sucks, but guess what? He's a baller.

And Burgess.
yep. lol Holliman is a fail, although i'm not sure he had the grades. i always felt like Burgess left us not us not wanting him just my opinion.

This game could go on forever, naming names of guys we flat-out whiffed on.

My thing is that we need to find someone who is willing to really look at these hometown kids, find the playmakers regardless of measurables, and put them in positions to succeed once they get here.

Chumley Ghoulden and most of his corching staph can't do that.

This thread reminds me of Isaiah McKenzie. Why have an lightning-fast explosive guy who brings back multiple kicks/year when you can have a crappy return game all year long? Our special teams coach sure knows how to pick 'em.
