New American Football League- Orlando- Apollos roster

Some NFL names too
Will Hill was solid that one year for the Ravens but couldn't keep his head on straight.
Lots of Miami names.

Guys who I thought stepped away from football frankie hammond, ryan green.

Might actually be decent.

Joe Yearby, Tyriq McCord, Trevor Darling, Standish Dobard...

Head Ball coach STEVE SPURRIER!

I always thought Tyriq McCord could have been a really good pass rusher. Too bad had to suffer Golden. He may have flourished in Diaz’s defense as a DE or the ‘Viper’ role.

So a league for the guys that make the boneheaded move of leaving early against all advice. Is this the league that wanted to take kids straight out of high school?

I just read the rules on wiki. No kick offs. I like what they are doing instead of onside kicks, you get 1 down to make 10 yards at the 35.

That's the Bill Polian proposal. I heard him mention it several times on ESPN.

Should be more than 10 yards, IMO. Donating the ball is too much of a gift, considering the burden of recovering an onside kick.

Wondering what that $ looking like? It seems like it will be a good little minor league system that can help guys get back in to the league.

What I like is that this team is riddled with Florida talent. Looking forward to see how this league holds up.

I always pull for the startup business, and I’m all in for an alternative to the Canadian League.

My concern is people like Spurrier. The guy is notoriously lazy as an HC, and he’s deep into retirement. How much work are you going to get out of him?

Is there a channel it’s going to be on? How do we watch it, I’d like to check out the Orlando team play if there’s going to be a decent amount of Miami players on it.
