Completely agree. I think we dropped major bags on King and Williams. King could have gone anywhere he wanted to but he choose Miami because they most likely dropped bags for him. When he committed, I said to myself "did he watch our offensive line last season. "And Williams was set to go to Florida hours before the announcement. His mom even bought him a cake with Florida colors on it. But he committed to Miami at the last minute.

I’ll try and stay out but the new school of thought is that it is permissible to start sentence with a coordinating conjunction like “and” to make a point. It should not be overused.

Why pick Miami over the Gaytors? Maybe bc he grew up a Canes fan, it's close enough to home, he can make the NFL from UM, he likes the coaches and defensive scheme better, a UM degree is worth more, UM is a small private school that is good for keeping focus on football and academics...everything isn't about the short money, kid is playing for that long money

Why pick Miami over Florida? Maybe he’s hoping to have an NFL career that lasts longer than two years. He doesn’t want to join the other bums from Defensive Bust University in the XFL.

In fact, the only reason we got him is because he wasn't getting paid, trust me, if there were any bags involved in his recruitment he would've signed with UF.

He came here because Banda convinced him that we would develop him & help his family situation out the best. Banda has a young daughter just like Tae does & it resonated with him that Banda would help him out as a father.

If it was just about cash, UF, UGA or Ole Miss could pay him significantly more than anything we'd be able to offer.

While I love your contributions to this site I have disagree with Tae coming to Miami due to Banda’ similar daughter situation. Banda making a nice money while Tae Williams maybe the complet opposite. Also Banda was working in this kid for 3 yrs and he still didn’t sign during the early signing period? Ed Reed comes on board and you know the rest
