The issue is the QB's need to earn PT, if they were ready and the staff was confident in them, then they would play, anywhere you go you'll have to earn it or they'll get someone who will.

I get his point, with that said, if we have a qb on the roster that’s ready to take the reigns I’m sure they’d rather do that then have to dip into the portal every year.

Wiltfong thinks we have the most juice with him as opposed to any 2027 kids. I have a hard time seeing us flip Seaborn after seeing how he was dressed when he was committed to Bama. Doesn't look like a culture fit even though Dawson seems to love him.

QB is a developmental position. This kid needs to come to Miami, be patient with the developmental process behind a guaranteed strong offensive line and running game, and takeover the reigns by showing the coaches that he is ready. Mario has no problem playing this kid as freshman if he is ready. First, he must enroll at Miami.

I’ll take the phenom all day and twice on Saturdays just in case lol. If we can take both, that’d be excellent for us. Unsure if we will ever take two HS quarterbacks again with how the last three portal cycles have turned out. Dawson also talked about going back to developing from HS signees again.

Mensah is going to be our starting quarterback this year and him + Cam Ward transferred twice in college. Quarterbacks are arms-dealers and the University of Miami is in the business of paying handsomely for such services.

The other ‘28 kid you’re high on, and so is our staff, Quinn, has done the exact same thing as Chaminade will be his third school in three years.
