2028 Neimann Lawrence 5* QB from American Heritage (via Northwestern & Ransom Everglades) Commits to Texas

Think he’s a great prospect, him and A1 best players in sfla right now imo. Abrams great too so im not mad if we spending this money elsewhere

I don’t believe that’s the case. Right now it’s closer to 50-50. He doesn’t appear to love Texas dual threats like Kavian Bryant, DJ Lagway, Keisean Henderson or Carson White.

Ewers, Charles Wright, Trey Owens, and Ty Knutson all from in state

Malique Murphy, Manning, Dia Bell, Karle Lacey and Neiman Lawrence from out of state
 
Sounds like it might be texas. They are saying ND might have another qb in the bag for 28

Yes he’s a phenom in every sense.

32 touchdowns, 1 interception, 70.8% completion percentage on 185 attempts, 1971 passing yards, 9 carries for 104 rushing yards in ten games according to maxpreps. Best TD-INT ratio in the state; probably in the country.

Both of Central’s losses were to Northwestern (where he played before transferring to Heritage) this past year and in the second game he threw 7 touchdowns and no interceptions; 21/25 w/ 406 passing yards.

Of the 200 quarterbacks with the most passing yards in Florida, only a dozen of them had a 70% completion percentage; some other notables include:

Efrem White 75.7% (this kid stepped in for Wonderful Monds after Monds was injured); now @ FSU playing wr
Dereon Coleman: 75.3% (second highest in the state behind White)
Malik Leonard: 69.8% (Carol City 2029)
Kai Moore 2027 who transferred from Norland to Columbus

Knox Anniss in comparison had 22 touchdowns 10 interceptions, 60% completion percentage, and 2203 passing yards.

I think it’s a money thing too. I don’t think they are willing to spend on high profile qbs in back to back years just for them to possibly sit on the bench. There are other teams who seem to take this approach too. Osu signed st.clair in 25 and in 26 took a 3 star qb and their qb in 27 is ranked 18th at the position. Texas signed bell last year and their qb in this year class is a 3 star. The staff will probably go after another high profile guy for 29

It’s just not a smart money decision for us. ROI is higher on portal QBs since they’re proven. Elite HS QB is just a luxury

I am good with it, never paid attention to this recruitment. Saw the film didn't like it and then we got Abrams and I was like we good. Abrams looks like he going to be the first QB to make everyone transfer even my boy DC who doesn't have the body type IMO to play at this level. IDK if he will ever have the body type. We will see, if DC was like 6'2 200 he would be a problem. But I been wrong before so

I’m sick of Texas schools. Why do South Florida kids love to go waste away at these schools? And get beat by their hometown team. Make it make sense.

To be fair, our guy is the Monroe Ingraham and Grace Mensah of QBs. Dude is garbage, his only job is to be the friend and throw balls to Bfye. I am ok with that, but if Wright doesnt come, we need to drop Annis with the quickness.

They aren’t spending money 2 years in a row on a hs qb and lawerence is a kid who more than likely will be transferring in a year or 2
