Unlike the positive thread I can think of 100 items that were bad last night.

But for me it begins and ends with James Coley. He had a month to prepare for this game and we again converted next to 0 third downs. The play calling last night was some of the worst I have seen since Patrick Nix.

Do not go all off season telling me the reigns are off and we are using the entire playbook and then play so handcuffed the announcers are making fun of you. The first half (minus the kick return) played right into our hands. Kaaya took some lumps and you could see him picking up the speed of the game. We had them on the ropes but we cant score after the half or from the 10, not once but twice. If the offense executes then the defense is not so gassed. Had Coley called the plays like we had a QB last night we would have put up at least 13 more points and forced UL out of their offensive game plan by the third quarter.

But we couldn't execute or he didn't trust the Freshmen, unlike what we have heard all camp.

Each of us saw 9 men in the box. We should have been running a screen every other play.

I can go on and on. But this is two games in a row where the defense has played as well as I hoped they could but the offense blew the game. Coley recruited all kinds of NFL QB's at FSU but he had Jimbo to help coach them. I am beginning to see that he might not be the answer as OC and for me he is on the clock to prove it. He's got two cupcakes to get everything ironed out. Lets hope he does it or he will be responsible for a bad season as much if not more than Coach D'onofrio

We also had a month to prepare for our bowl game.

Maybe our coaches don't need to prepare anything as it seems to work against us.

One thing I wouldn't put up with was Phillip Dorsetts on the field ranting...his a$$ would sit until he learned better.

He wasn't the only one though. Clive had a couple moments, Flowers wasn't thrilled, Deon and Howard were ticked off. Dorsett, like many others, participated in off season workouts, handled their coursework, participated in community events/camps...Then spent the night running routes and perimeter blocking in what would become another prime time TV blowout. If they're busting their asses for the program, they shouldn't be punished for losing their cool a couple times.
