My wife (fellow UM alumn) is going in for brain surgery this morning to remove a meningioma. The good news is that it is relatively small. Also our doctor is a graduate from UM med school. Please keep her in your prayers.

Surgical procedures and surgeon training have made dramatic strides in every discipline over the past 20 years. Prayers that your wife is the beneficiary of those advances and has a speedy and total recovery.

UPDATE:

Despite some more extensive work needed, the surgery accomplished its goal and most of the meningioma was removed. She’s recovering now, albeit in a lot of pain. Please keep her in your prayers.

UPDATE - My wife is doing better this morning. The headache is greatly reduced and they’re moving her out of ICU. They took her down the hallway earlier for a walk, no issues.

Thank all of you for your prayers, and I thank our Heavenly Father for His guidance in this situation.

Update - My wife is now home and recovering nicely. No complications and only dealing with a headache, praise to our Heavenly Father. She’s doing well.
