I don't know the ins and outs of defensive schemes but hopefully someone can give an accurate answer as to what we've been making fun of for years:
Forget playing 15 yards off the LOS of on obvious running downs. Why are the safeties running backwards after the snap? Listen, coach D obviously sucks....but there must be a reason aside from the fact that he's a ******* idiot.
We literally played 11 on 9 last night at times as our safeties would just run towards the end zone when the ball is snapped.
This isn't another thread to bash the guy. There's enough of those. I need to know why from a Xs and os standpoint why we are literally taking guys out of the play.
