Need Devil's advocate on this. What are the logical reasons to not start Jarren now?

At this point in our season and in lieu of all the things that are wrong with the team, is there a solid reason to not start Jarren moving forward?

We're not winning the ACC and the truth is, we won't beat another team on this schedule unless we get better QB play moving forward. This BS about Jarren needing to learn the playbook, is ridiculous! As has been pointed out ad nauseam, we only run a handful of plays anyway. If JW can't learn 5 passing plays after arriving on campus in January, then he's mentally handicapped and certainly shouldn't be playing football.

N'Kosi is damaged goods and I always had concerns about him mentally. Malik is Malik...nuff said. Cade is too interested in smoking doobs than watching film tape of the next opponent, in between getting multiple suspensions.

Look, with this OL, we are what we are. We're not a championship level team and Searles lacks the coaching acumen to field a competent unit.

At this point, based on the roster and sizable sample size, there is no reason to not go with JW, whom he should have gone with in January/Spring ball. Next season, we start with the Gators and as much as the NCAA loves having a neutered Miami, and loves pastor Richt, I doubt (although I'm not totally convinced) that Malik won't get that magical 6th RS year. So, realistically, it's either Kosi or JW to start against the Gators.

I wanted Butch. That didn't happen. I rooted for MR, hoping I was wrong about him...that also didn't happen. At this point, even if the moronic UM administration gives him 3-5 more years to cement our permanent status as an also ran (don't forget - GT used to be a powerhouse), his stay in SoFla will not be a pleasant one unless he either steps down or makes some needed changes.

Since there's nothing that can be done about the OL this season, the 1st obvious choice, IMHO, is to start Jarren moving forward. Will Mark do this? Quick question: did Mark get rid of Searles after underperforming on the OL 2 years in a row? Yeah. It's probably Malik going forward, but if he wants to win in 2019 and not get curb stomped by FL in the beginning of next year, then, JW has to be the answer. He was the answer in January....

So richt can have an excuse to why the offense is garbage. Nah **** all that

What exactly are your logical reasons for labeling Perry ‘damaged goods’? He was the franchise Saturday morning. He has a poor performance in his first road game, at night, in his third ever start. Now he’s written off.

What are you going to do if Williams plays poorly in a few starts later this season?

Because as much as Richt likes to say he plays the best player it's clear he values seniority over talent

What am I going to do? Once again point out that MR failed at a school that had every conceivable advantage BEFORE he got here. We have a group of guys making a helluva lot of money to field serviceable QB play. If JW is another dud, then it's undeniable at that point that MR can't develop QB talent. Look at the guys he's gotten: Kosi, high 4 star, JW high 4 star and Cade a 3-4 star. You want me to believe that it's not Mark's fault, but he's just THAT unlucky...? It's the most important position on the field. He needs to tender his resignation if we are now forever doomed to terrible QB play because of bad luck defeating his amazing QB development powers.

JW has to know the playbook by now. Most of the fan base knows all of the half dozen plays.

Even if all of those QBs suck, which I don't think is the case, it's an indictment on his QB evaluations and recruiting.

No sense in rushing Williams out there just to have richt and jr ruin him as a quarterback.
We're past the point of protecting QB's psyche's. Also, Ken Dorsey got savaged his 1st year when he went in for KK against VT. If the QB is any good, they won't get crushed by a harsh outing.

1. Don't want to rush Williams in and destroy him. Road game at BC is not how i would break him in. I actually though Richt did a nice job breaking in Perry (skipping LSU, starting at FIU at home, UNC at home, FSU at home...)
2. Want to salvage the season with Rosier (makes me want to puke) or Perry for recruiting purposes
3. I still want to see more from Perry. Those picks were bad but the arm talent is evident. Prefer to roll with him and legit find out if he is our future or not. Bench Perry now for Williams and he is gone next year

After 2 starts Kosi gets kicked to the curb? Personally the QB problems are just a symptom of larger issues on the offensive side of the ball.

You missed the point dypshyt. You’re writing off Perry after two full games, followed by one poor performance. He’s ‘damaged goods’. Because of your evaluation, we should throw Williams into the game, hoping he turns into The Next Great QB.

Keep up the inner child work.

Trying to decipher another inane post by TemplarCane, who probably doesn't even know that Templars were Catholic and were knights. He saw a cool Nick Cage movie once.

Humoring you...let's see if I understand this tripe...um... I'm not just coming to this conclusion over 2 games on Kosi. I've been following him before he got here and then, of course, when he got here. Interviews, performances in both Springs, etc.

Are you his lover or something? As his girlfriend, you should play catch with him and suggest throwing the ball to guys wearing orange and green. It's just a suggestion.

That help you? :-)

A teenager would play the lover-friend angle. I would think your inner child would be pre-teen at best.

Try harder. Go deeper.

Why the **** would you want us to put Jarren in? Richt is already being a complete ***** by pulling Nkosi when he throws 2 picks and we're only down ******* 7 at half.

Imagine if Jarren does anything wrong, he's just gunna bench him and put that ******* garbage senior back in

Stop the crap!! You just said, 5 plays at most so is not rocket science is as simplevthat the defense know already the 5 plays and they don’t work!! Is the offense itself and play caller stuborness. When you have a pocket passer like Kayaa and insist on rpo reads. When you have a spread slunger and force him into the alignments we are seeing. No wonder a handicap QB like Rozier is the best option. Absurd.

That he’s not ready and as soon as he throws an interception the board is going to turn on him like w/ NKosi Perry
