Nebraska vs. Ohio State

My point exactly. Say what u say CMR is the first coach the U has EVER had that comes in with the level of credibility he brought. Maybe Schelenberger, aside from that, none other. And now we want him gone 2.5 years in. Smh..
Maybe Schnellenberger??...Lol....The Man was the Architect Offensively of the Dolphins for 2 SBs....he wipes his *** with Mork McTwocalls....

If averaging 10 wins a year in the SEC means that you suck, then literally every coach in America other than Saban and Swinney sucks. No exaggeration.

Richt was a good coach in the early 2000s but has fallen behind the times and won't adjust. He finished unranked at UGA 4 out of the last 7 years. 63-29 during that time, pretty meh.

Has proven that he's fallen further behind the times in his 3 years here.

Yeah, but that doesn't address my post or the post I responded to. Thank you, though.

Oh, but Meyer is a genius. Fire Mark Richt, blah, blah, blah. Richt will return the U to glory. We have to be patient. GO CANES
Georgia was patient for 15 years. FOH. Mork is who he is. Nothing has changed and nothing will change.

Well you lied in your post, Richt didn't average 10 wins a year so there wasn't a factual statement to address.

Which is why you couldn't wait to address it. But let's play semantics over .34 wins per year. That truly makes a difference in this context.

Most coaches don't coach in the SEC so obvioulsy most coaches could not possibly average 10 wins in the SEC. Most coaches also don't coach at the only power house school in one of the most talent rich states in the nation with high powered boosters who love football.

Right, which leaves us posting things like "imagine what _________ would do here", and then ten years later that guy in the blank never amounted to anything. The fact that a coach lasted 15 years in the scenario you described while winning 9.67 games per year sure doesn't make it sounds like he "sucked" his whole time there. There are many places where football success is possible, yet no one is winning at that rate outside Saban and Swinney.

There really are not that many schools that have as many advantages as UGA. USC is one of the few I can think of(and yes I know USC sucks. There coach is even worse than RIcht).

Which is why they won a single title 38 years ago and averaged 7 wins per year between Dooley and Richt.

I am not sure how close you follow HS football(I know you are knowledgeable in HS baseball), but UGA HS talent has MASSIVELY increased from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s to what it has become in the late 90s to present.
