Nebraska vs. Illinois/Early Games Thread

How's it looking?
Pretty good. My TV took a bit to get used to it (Samsung QLED), and my gripe with native TV streaming YTTV was pixilation during sporting events. Sometimes I use my firestick to mitigate, but this 4K seems to solve that issue. Will be interested to see how many games they put in 4K because right now does not seem like a lot.

I think Nebraska might be more talented than Illinois, not sure, but Nebraska right now looks like they are giving in. They just seem to have no will to win.

I wasn't blown away by his tape, he won me over a little with the all star game and practices. Always go with your initial feeling, he looked slow and plodding the moment I saw his film
It’s the reason I’m hesitant with Redding. Very little visual proof of him separating in football pads.

****kowski out there looking like a player. Boy Nebraska in for a long season. They need to a QB not names Martinez

I actually liked his tape. I thought he was a long strider that could struggle with some aspects of the route tree, but if used correctly could be threat with intermediate/deep routes with his body control and ability to catch contested balls.

Nebraska can make any offense look good. I really expected a lot from Frost back at his alma mater. His return has been nothing short of a disaster. Adrian Martinez has made a career of making freshman mistakes.

Sitowski actually looks serviceable. It’s faint praise, but it’s praise I never thought I’d be giving. And I’d rather be seeing Mrs Bielema on the sideline than fat Bret.
It's v good coaching - he's not being asked to do anything difficult. Easy reads, easy throws - but that's enough when your running game is rockin'.

Nebraska are getting punched in the mouth here and don't have an answer.

Boy was I wrong about Frost. I thought it’d take a few years but I thought he’d get them to an above average level and playing hard once he got his guys up there along with bringing that system up there. They are dog ****, my God. They have gotten worse.

UCONN is officially wilting in the central California sun.

Fresburg State just went 80 yards on one play to blow it open right before the half.

28-0 Bulldogs. 1:30 remaining in the 2nd quarter.
