Nebraska vs Cincinnati

He made it. He’s an entertainer now. I don’t think he’s a sell out like most do. I just think he understands his new lane.

He’s still an incredibly talented interviewer, but he’s crossed the rubicon into entertainment and no longer a mom and pop type ball show.
He’s changed a lot

IMHO...Nebraska will never be back. It's a tough Job. Maybe they win 8 to 9 games sometimes, but that's about it.

350lb 6ft7 OL and DL ain't walking through that door any time soon.
Yup. And them big *** OL and DL in the Midwest aint trying to stay in the boring, cold asf in the winter but hot and humid asf summer with nothing to do Midwest. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Cincy literally gave Nebraska this game. I mean dumb play after dumb play, not capitalizing on mistake after mistake from Nebraska.

Sometimes I wonder how can I be a fck up in life & always land on my feet, but somehow these coaches r able to it for decades.
Old boys club is a real thing.

No inside info, just blatantly obvious.

Once you're a CEO its easy to get another CEO job just because, even if your driving every company into the ground.

I’m tired of this Mahomes wannabe. I understand idolizing someone but this guy doing the exact same **** Mahomes does is just weird.

How many more times are Nebraska's DL going to rush up field and watch Sorsby run past them? He has thrown for 35 yards on 18 attempts. Let him throw it from the pocket. So dumb
I wouldn't care what the final score reflected. Cincy beat those people last night. That defense is trash and a disgrace to the black shirts and ravioli is basic as ****. Cincy QB gave that game away by making a horrible throw on the simplest outside shoulder look EVER. Just lead him and put that ball on the sideline and Nebraska is 0-1 today. It's not a reflection of what I think about Matt Rhule at all. Buddy's a **** of a coach and will get them right. But this ain't it

Yup they look like the Canes from an eye test before Mario started to revamp. They look weak and small pause. Dylan at a school with better talent would be way better. Went to a **** team but will still get drafted cause he has some good traits imo.
He'd be better at a better school simply because the talent will carry him. He's *** himself. Who's to say if the light does turn on for him eventually. But right now he's sitting by himself in a dark corner jerking off to mahomes highlight vids.

I feel like he’s good because of the tools. I need to see like a whole game with him. I didn’t get to see this one but last year when I watched him he looked good. He has a quick release he’s mobile a bit, he throws well on short routes and intermediate. He does have tools I would assume just Nebraska is ***, their LOS don’t look like D1 guys from a tier one program. They looked really bad at the LOS in terms of size. They just don’t recruit well at all.

Remember all those Jags went there from sfla? Imagine that we were fighting Nebraska for prospects that were all ****. That’s who we were competing against, and surprise surprise they were dog **** those players. When you competing with them for recruits you might as well call it a day.

It's a given that his tools will be on point because the kid is the son of a high level football family. He was raised with individual targeted coaching. But you can be coached till seven ways from Sunday. But it don't mean it's gonna help you play the game any better. You just simply look better mechanically while you shart...

Yea but you can’t teach that quick release and some traits he has. I want to see if I catch some of his games cause I saw one whole game he played last year, and I was like **** this kid looks good. But this is coming from someone who thought NKosi Perry looked good. But I think as I am older I can see talent better, but it’s qb he can be a straight scrub and idk lol. But when I saw Cam that’s when I knew that’s a different type of qb. Maybe Cam ruined me

If Dylan is a rhythm qb he will be in trouble at Nebraska. Beck is the same, rhythm QB. You put pressure on them and they are cooked.

#1 beck isn't a rhythm QB. He's simply methodical. More than likely because he approached the game from an intellectual standpoint. #2 a quick release is absolutely something coached into him. You get that strictly from coaching, from training, from weights. More than anything it's due to mechanics. Not trying to take anything away from the kid. But I just don't think his best days are ahead of him. He's like boobie miles from Friday night lights. High school turned him into some mythical beast and a red neck town like Lincoln Nebraska swore into the hype. It's a vicious cycle. 🤣

I was more impressed with Cincinnati

They missed an easy scoop & score, they had a wide open wheel route that they missed on, & then even on that final drive, all u need was a FG to send the game into OT; he had a guy across the middle which most likely would’ve extended the drive as he would’ve ran out of bounds, & the QB got greedy & misread the coverage.

This was more Cincy losing this game v. Nebraska winning. Also, Raiola may be the biggest glazer in the history of sports.

I hope you right about Beck. We shall see about Dylan as well, **** is a crap shoot with qbs. You rarely see a guy like Cam and know “like ok this kid is next level”

After the crossing route vs Oregon I knew Cam was legit easily. I feel like no one throws that route better than him especially when it’s late by the hashes.

Beck I never believed in and I hope he plays well. But ND can and will get pressure they have a 6’7 edge rusher. They will get pressure and that’s when rhythm will fall apart for Beck. Those are the plays that I want to see what he does. If he panics and looks erratic in the pocket or throws picks then I will stick with the opinion that he’s a rhythm guy. Cause pressure breaks up rhythm and those who can play qb off rhythm can have success against anyone

TrumpyCane remembers Houston fans ****ting on Dawson saying Holgerson took play calling away from him

3 years later Dawson had a top 40 offense with TVD, #1 offense with Cam, and poised to have another top 25 offense, while Holgerson has been fired and his offenses look like complete garbage at Nebraska

Don't forget our own fans ****ting on him while he accomplished that.

Nebraska has a very easy schedule, pretty sure that is why plenty of people have been picking them, Indiana, and Illinois to make the CFP. Also they have a very talented QB. I don't think anyone has been praising them like they are 95 reincarnate

how u skipping to a black version when arch manning is right there who aint done sh*t lol
While I would agree arch Manning hasn't done anything to deserve the level of hype he's s received. He at least played against one actual SEC team, (although certainly not the greatest in that conference) and had good results being against Mississippi State. Nothing else he's done has deserved that hype besides the fact he was born into the Manning family. So you're not going to get an argument out of me. However if you're curious how I'm skipping to a black version, why don't you go look at DJ lagway's stats and then tell me that. The only team he had a good game against last season was Samford. Everyone else, basic isn't even the word for him. That would be how I'm skipping to a black version. You might not like Arch manning (who Im not sold on either) but Arch Manning has at least looked good no matter who they played when he's in the game. Can't say that for either of the other two. I don't feel like looking into it, but I'm curious if you were one of the people who thought highly of ravioli last season as well...
