If we line Any of our Outside LB's out on the slots we are ****ed. I would lineup in a formation where we line up our backers out to defend the pass and run Abdullah til the cows come home. It will force us to a 4-3. I'd run a 4-3 this game if I were us and force them to pass.
 
Line up a zero & two 4i's, bring up OLB'ers up outside the TE's. Fold the SS to the strength & dare them the ******* to run!
 
They definitely have big play potential which needs to be respected.
I know you guys don't like hearing this but it's bend don't break time. Give up yards not points.
Put the onus on the offense to win the game. Open up the playbook for Kaaya and trust that he will be ready and reward your trust with a solid performance. If Kaaya is anything special and the "chosen one" he will have a great game.
#98 looks like he will wreck havoc on McDermott. Neeed to maybe double team him however they seem to have studs across the line.
Spread them out and get our playmakers out in space. Coley, Herb, Dorsett and Duke should all be together for the majority of snaps.
Special teams can't *** up this game. No TD's on returns or big gains. No blocked punts or kicks. Any ***** up in special teams will equal a sure loss.

meant Herb ***face. And yes, bend don't break gives us the best chance on defense.
We don't have the size up front especially on the outside to match up with their OL.
 
bend but don't break *when it works* is a whole game, every play thing. it's prevent from kickoff to whistle.

we have too many responsibilities on every play for a whole game to go by without busted plays on D. there are just too many chances to ***** it up with this scheme.


being passive is only going to make it more agonizing, imo. we need to force the action, and hopefully find some playmakers in the secondary
 
Running QBS and decent TE's have been a problem for us. We gotta open up the playbook and keep drives alive or it'll be a long night. That said, our 8 is 2x their 8!
