Semi-retired, house is fully paid. I normally don’t put more than 500$ per weeks, but those spread lines were too appealing. That’s easy money.

Fair play. £50 is my limit - I could put several £k down, but I'm too young to have a heart attack over a lost fumble.

I will use that stake and the winnings from that £50 all season tho - but at that point you're playing with house money, not your mortgage!

The fact that FSU is making this a competitive game chaps my hide. I would argue that if they had even a decent QB, they may be up this game.

The only thing that I can kinda accept about how FSU is playing compared to us is that Alabama would blowout Norte Dame too. So I guess we might still be better than FSU

Nah. He had to go all in. No chance at all to beat ND playing a regular game of football and thinking he can keep them within a TD. His only chance was more explosive plays and lots of luck. Had to hope ND would make mistakes and capitalize on it. He's not coaching scared, which is the opposite of our HC. Not saying he's better than Diaz, but Norvell has balls.

that's what is lost in this, yeah, he's athletic, but geez, he gets hit more than a heavy bag-- and he's already a shaky passer to begin with. With guys like him, less is more, in terms of playing time, and just finding certain packages for him

Yep, as you said earlier he'd be a ******* nightmare to game plan for if you rolled him off the bench for 5-10 plays a game.

He's not a starting QB at this level though.
