You might be right and everything will work out. But comparing what happened last year in the ACC to this year doesn’t make sense. The schedule dynamics are different. The teams are different. It’s going to be an absolute war to finish top 2 in this conference. And banking on an At-Large bid seems silly.

We play one of the hardest ACC schedules. Our bye placements are atrocious. All schedules are not created equal. This isn’t 2015 and we’re not trying to win the Coastal anymore. Time to update priors.
 
This was tough for us if we DON'T handle our business.

Fortunately, the Staph and this group of players appear to have learned the lesson of last season (Cam didn't need to be taught, but that's another story): that you have to Stand on Business for Every Game. We have to treat every match as if it's a Notre Dame Game.

If we don't, someone (Pitt, Va Tech, the Little Sisters of the Poor, the Gatah), is going to come up and bite us in the a$$ with a field goal or a last minute touchdown.

They've ranked us fifth because they are waiting for us to f**k up. The Press and the Coaches WANT to drop us down to 12 so we have to scramble for an At-Large Bid and beg the Committee to get in.

The Press and the Coaches want us to play in the Aloha Bowl, especially the Coaches.

I can’t freaking stand it. I really do hate our fan base.
 
Hey on the bright side: VT and Pitt suck! i was thinking of attending VT but now im not sure if the 12hr commitment is worth it.

Those tamu receivers are still running by the vaunted ND defense. And they had a 100 yard ko return called back. I don’t care about all the what if playoff permutations. Anytime ND loses, it’s glorious. Over-rated af.
