Name the teams that played ND that beat a top 4 team like Clemson. Syracuse, played LSU tough on the road, played us tough on the road, played FSU tough on the road. Name one of the teams they played that's hard to prepare for like GT. When we played FSU, they were still motivated, name one team ND played that has a DL like theirs. VT is as good as any of their opponents. Next thing, they played all their games up north.ND 40, Miami 21
Everyone that ND has played other than Georgia had looked pedestrian. MSU got blown out then beat teams like Iowa State, Michigan, Penn State.
USC could only muster 14 point and they're hanging 40+ against everyone else.
NC State averaged over 35 a game. Before ND, and then only scored 7 offensive points against ND
BC got owned, and then beat teams like Louisville and FSU. Yes, I know they suck.
Point is, Miami hasn't played anyone. VT would get raped by ND. They've already played 4 or 5 good teams. Miami played one, and they're not even that good (VT).
I think it will be close in the first half, especially as ND adjusts to the crowd and takes whatever blows/trick plays Miami wants to throw our way. Second half Miami will start to wear down, especially the back end.
And UNC did the same a week later, 93 plays I think in back to back weeks. We basically have 2 1/2 DLs and those are the players who usually get worn down. So they are playing 40-50 snaps in a long game like that. Syracuse wore down Clemson DL because they do not have the depth we have, which is crazy to think. Will be considerably less v ND killing the clock offense.ND 40, Miami 21

How exactly will ND wear down Miami, especially the secondary? Syracuse ran almost 100 plays on offense and they were the ones sucking wind by the end of the game. Miami will certainly not be worn down by a one trick pony like the ND offense.
