On a similar note, I've seen some people saying **** like "you're proud to score 10 points! that's an embarrassment. How can you be happy about that at all". Like ************, it's the playoffs. I don't give a **** if the team "looks good" or "looks bad". I'll take a 55-54 win, 2-0 win, a 10-3 win. Just. Win. IDGAF about style points.

I agree with you: I think all these people get so obsessed with stats, they forget what the entire point of the game is: score at least one more point than the other team. That's it. That's all you have to do. It counts the same in the win column as outscoring a team by 300 points.

And, more importantly, it gets you to the CFP Quarterfinals instead of sitting on your *** at home crying about stats, resumes and how many points your team scored in a loss.

Yeah, the aTm defense Notre Dame played against at the beginning of the year is not the same defense it is now. They got so much better as the season went on. If aTm played Notre Dame today, aTm’s defense would shut them out.
