I forgot how incredible annoying and insufferable ND fans are once they have a little bit of success.

They are one of the sanctimonious douch bags in all of college football. Worst fanbase ever.

Anyone who says college football is better when ND is good deserves to get punched in the face.

I would love nothing better than to beat these losers.
 
If a random fan podcast were bulletin board material they’d need a lot of bulletin boards

I think the whole thing set up well for them to travel. Game day and time were announced four months ago, plenty of time to plan travel, get tix, etc. And its essentially a summer vacation trip.

I'm thinking there will be around 15K Domer fans in Hard Rock. Maybe more.

While you are correct, this is something particularly different than some closet racist fan caught on camera or a message board warrior.
This dude was on a podcast with an audience. He isn’t a teenager or some frat boy after a few bears.

So the situation where a grown a.. man who is a professional would have the audacity to make such a statement and feel 100 percent comfortable and boisterous about it with other men applauding him speaks to the stereotype of that fanbase.
Which is something that has been a hot topic. Every time some sec fan boy makes a pseudo racist comment the rebuttal is that “racist are in every fan base”.

So yes, racism exists everywhere and every fanbase has them. But some places seem to attract them more than others.
And every time someone peaks their head out and opens their mouth it’s always the same fanbases.

I feel that the vast majority of certain sec teams and notre dame fans are great people with a good heart. Unfortunately, for historic reasons, they are more attractive to certain individuals than Miami or USC.
