(Waiting for CJ Bailey comment or thread to be bumped)…

[252cane]

He been there like 13 years and I think he has maxed out there

[cookies]

Interesting because the word in Raleigh was DD committed to retiring already; probably better for the program longterm to offer him up as sacrifice for the fanbase than give him a gracious ending

[ageezy]

The very first thing I thought of when I read that he had been fired!

[flips]

Bit of an unfortunate last name

[Page305]

I mean, he just lost to Stanford..... how that happened?

Honestly, a pretty classless thing to do.

Let him see out the season and part ways. He made NC St relevant.

[dycane]

CJ Bailey is a coach killer

[Hold My Beer]

"Winningest coach in school history"

LOL, that's one way of putting it

Doeren was 52-58 in the ACC over 13-plus seasons, ranked at season's end just three times and never higher than 20th.

He was somewhere between mediocre and below average.

[Jonnyblaze]

They had to do it.

They're NC St my dude. Their best players get poached.

I hear ya. Think they can do better, though.

[RozayCane]

They are probably spending way to much on their roster and expect unrealistic results
