Billy Rolle is probably one of the best coaches to ever coach South Florida football. That man is a MONSTER!! Won at the West, Killian and Southridge S/O the boy Billy Gibson and Mark Pope

Let me start by saying The Ridge got lucky with their first TD (tip ball in end zone) and victory. Their OL and QB play was bad. Dr. Phillips only gave up 2 plays, but those were that lucky tip and the bomb to Pope. Both defenses were lights out. IMO SOFL has more and better players, but NOFL has better OL and OC coaching. SOFL teams a lot of times get by on talent not execution. Southridge's WR's must have gotten their reps from 7 on 7 play because their QB play is poor.

Hurt to hear Pope a bamer and jortsville the favorites. He has that speed and "swag" we MUST keep at home. Gibson is a keeper and I'll say it, "in the box safety". High FB IQ and can cover slot and crossing routes. He's good.

Well South Florida nearly swept all the Championship games so I guess they doing something right down here

Everyone says his yet south florida players constantly come in college ready. Just a dumb narrative.
 
Stop hating. Miss me with that luck ****. Luck been saving teams Miami should've beaten for years but at the end of the day, it's an L like for Dr. Phillips. They had every chance to win until late.

You speak about execution but Billy Rolle has won STATE TITLES at the west, killian and the ridge. They switched QBs and lost bentavious to a broken clavicle. That shakes you when that's the leader of your team. Rolle got them refocused and it's pretty clear "execution" worked out.
 
Good news on Gibson and plenty of time for us to get Pope in our camp - hopefully, anway.

He hasn't been able to do anything without a squad of 20 D1 players.

Who can't win a state title with this type of roster?

Pretty spot-on narrative actually. If "everyone says this" it might hold some truth.

South FLA kids come in physically ready more so than technically.

Coral reef last I checked was a school that you had to be accepted in to go to. They obviously ain't picking kids off of athletic ability. It's a magnet school. They have maybe 2 D1 kids I've seen since I graduated 10 years ago. That's coral reefs fault they suck. Not billy Rolle. That's a TERRIBLE argument

I coached against him when he was there. He had a few players. Certainly had better players than we did. (Cooper City)

We won 42-0. Coral Reef looked terrible. They ran 3 different offensive schemes. None worked. And they ran the 5-3 on defense. Top-5 worst teams I've seen live.

You don't judge coaches by what they do with a roster full of D1 kids, you judge them by what they do when they don't have 20 D1 kids.

Saban has been out-coaching people for years. That's how he got to the point where he can recruit blue chip players. Now he has blue chip players AND out-coaches people.

I don't see the correlation though. Saban competes with teams who also have studs. When Saban gets to the National Championship he's usually playing against teams who have just as many studs as he does.

Southridge has four CB's with D-1 offers. Let that sink in. That means their 2nd string CB's are D-1.
They have three DE's with D-1 offers. That means a 2nd string DE is D-1.
Three of their Safeties have D-1 offers.
Two of their RB's have D-1 offers.
All of their WR's have D-1, two of whom have offers from Alabama.

They just won a close game versus a team who has 1/4 of their athletes. The best offer on Doctor Phillip's team is from NC State.

C'mon dude. LOL

Poor QB and OL play are always the tell tale signs of poorly coached teams. Always. Those 2 positions require more detail than any others.

I highly doubt coral reef had more talent than cooper city. they suck and have since I was in high school
 
If you win states at 3 different schools, you're doing something right.

Don't care if he has more talent. He did what he was supposed to do. Win
