They may not be, but I want to see Sampson get his title. I like the UH squad, I love that they are a likable team that plays hard. Reminds me of our Final Four team, a lot of solid dudes, most of whom don't have an NBA future, but they play hard and are well coached. Plus, I will NEVER root for UF in anything. If UF was playing Satan, I'd hope for a stadium implosion...

Everybody keeps pretending it wasn’t an over the back foul. The Houston player clearly boxed flag out and flag went over the back. That’s a foul in any game, so people can miss me with crying about that.

I totally disagree with that because we all know that wasn’t a foul in that 2002 national championship game but that was clearly an over the back foul by flag in that game. The Houston player boxed him out and he went over the back, that’s what happened and that’s a foul.

Don’t see Houston getting blown out. They’ve lost 4 games all year, 3 in OT and one a 5 point loss against Auburn on a neutral floor. Lot of older guys on that team that won’t wilt in the moment.

Unless the whistle is just not allowing them to play physical on the defensive end I think they’re more than capable of winning it. But if we get to the under 16 and they already have 4 team fouls I’m not going to feel great.

Duke was flirting with blowing them out… but there’s a reason Houston won and it’s not at all just that Duke blew it.

My heart says Houston will keep it competitive and gut out a win… my head says Florida will be in control most of the game and (yeah, you know the rest 🤮).

Florida struggling to get anything in the half court, all 3 FGs in transition. Little less emphasis on crashing o-boards, more on getting back by Houston would be nice.
