They’re missing their best player, so It’s not about whether they win or lose. It’s about getting that draw. If they were healthy they’d easily roll to the E8.
I don’t like to use that ‘if….then’ logic because their season ends differently if Wilson were playing; and so would have been their seeding.

Honestly, i like our region/matchups tho. Not scared of anybody except Arizona. But ffffuccccccc the first game is going is to be tuff
Missouri and Purdue. Tough draws but ... at this point if you're anything below a 5 seed, they all pretty much are.

PURDUE got hot, but they have been very beatable through much of the season. I am ok with that draw.
I agree. There are a lot of teams that I'd rather not play moreso than Purdue.

Missouri's best three wins were Kentucky, Vandy, and Florida. All within 5 pts but those are no cupcakes.

Outta all the 2 seeds, I’ll take Purdue: who got bumped up to a 2 seed after beating Michigan in the B1G championship.

Mizzou isn’t that formidable but they got a de facto home game. However, there is a major benefit that i didn’t realize until right now; mizzou’s best player was coached by Jai Lucas so we have a bit of an advantage—scouting wise. Marcus Allen also played on that team last year.

Yeah Missouri was good this season but kind of fell off later in the season. Some good wins, yes. And the game is in Missouri which is ridiculous. Hope the guys are prepared and give more effort Than the last game.

Same with our AHC. We have alot of connections to Mizzou and should have good insights. It’s just damned unfair a 10! seed gets a home game

Purdue the lowest 2 seed

Would I prefer Miami to play in Tampa? Absolutely.
However, Mizzou is a good opponent for Miami to get back on track against and make a good run in the Tournament.
I actually like where Miami is in the bracket and winning the first game is the most important game.

I was at the Mizzou/Arkansas game in Fayetteville and Mizzou is good and will smoke us if we don’t come to play, especially at “home”.
