NCAA ******** with practise time now. (And overtime)

Virtue signaling is not a myth. Case in point, Walmart signing a pledge urging the US government to cut carbon emissions when the majority of the **** they sell is produced in a country that is far and away the biggest emissions producer!

It's a myth. It's a word that was made up at a political think-tank, just like "death tax" and "entitlements" and every other fake word that people use incorrectly.

It's not Wal-Mart's fault that most of the consumer-goods manufacturing for this entire planet takes place in Asia. Good for Wal-Mart for asking the US government to get involved. It's not like Wal-Mart has a choice on where to get consumer goods.

This is the silly game that certain people play. In order not to be "hypocritical", Wal-Mart cannot say ONE WORD about carbon emissions unless they boycott all Asian production for a couple of years until they can build factories in a non-Asian country...riiiiiiight...

do you have any clue how large Wal-Mart is? They are literally market makers for many products. They want them made in the US, then they are made in the US.

How many teams are actually gonna follow this rule? 98% of these “time limits” are on the honors system.

Wal-Mart is a retailer. Yes, they are the largest single purchaser. But they also cannot uproot hundreds of Asian factories and resettle them in countries with better pollution control.

Give me a break. You had plenty of people acting as if Wal-Mart being required to pay people $15 an hour would bankrupt the company, and now you are pretending that Wal-Mart's "largeness" alone could cause a relocation of most of the consumer-goods factories on the planet? Hilarious.

They hit on this today on the First Team on Sirius. Kind of misleading cause the ncaa has no problems with teams playing more games and generating more money! So is it really about safety after all when teams are playing 15 games?????

Most of the companies on the list including Walmart, Apple, Amazon and others products are mainly made in China. China produces more emissions than the US and Western Europe combined. They are better positioned to make a difference in emissions by either threatening to move their businesses ( doesn’t have to be to the US either) or engage in greener practices. But in the end they are more concerned with profits and keeping their multi million dollar stock options that they are paid in yearly, in which Congress turns a blind eye to because their in their back pocket!

“The changes are far from official. A subgroup of the FOC has spent the last several weeks ironing out details and will present the changes to the full committee at its meeting Thursday. Afterward, the new policies will be sent to member schools for feedback before the FOC officially recommends the legislation to the NCAA Division I Council, which must in turn OK the changes at its meeting on May 19.”

Has nothing to do with the myth of "virtue-signalling".

They have data. The data is not very favorable about summer/fall camp practices. BUT INSTEAD OF TRYING TO WORK THROUGH ALTERNATIVES, they take the easy way out.

I'd be fine with players having to wear those goofy padded-helmet things that F$U wore for the spring game if it meant we could have our practices back. But does the NCAA even TRY to go down that road? **** no.
here is something new, why don't we actually teach folks how to tackle properly : the tackling today is absolutely brutal to watch :
