I have no idea how people play without knee pads. Games changed, but when I was playing those things saved my knees more than I can count.
They actually have a function, there's tech in them that measures athletic data such as heartbeat, distance covered, blood pressure, etc.I'm old school as well. The shortened pants seem a little ridiculous. A cross between 7v7 shorts vs Pride Day at the Village.
It reminds me of the sports bra looking undershirt worn by male soccer players.
Don’t go there please…then we get to add another subjective criteria to the already s hitty officiating….just make it a 20 yard penalty or something and be done with it.
That's a GPS vestsports bra looking undershirt
I'm old skool I guess, bring back the pants, the short shorts was getting a little NY state of mindish IYKYK

Bingo. These refs struggle calling targeting as it is. Adding an extra level of interpretation just means they'll **** it up more.
All I kept hearing is how the defensive player is "launching" when he makes the hit. Same with Lucas. It should , complete bs half these targeting class are questionable . If you some below the shoulders and qb goes down and get hit in the head that’s not the db fault if he’s already commited to that position .
Exactly. I would have been kicked out of half my games in high school and I wasn't even headhunting. Just trying to make a play on the ball full speed. I cringe when a guy lowers his head and hits with the crown of the helmet because that is dangerous for the tackler.. and I thought that was the original intent of the rule. All I kept hearing is how the defensive player is "launching" when he makes the hit. Same with Lucas.
How does a DB tackle a crosser without moving towards the ball carrier?
