its a rivalry game for them that they only get to play once a decade because of ACC cross-scheduling. They scheduled it as a non-conference game because I guess thats allowed.

It is what it is

Worse case scenario happening. Wake destroying UNC. Makes us look really bad, AND it doesn’t even count as a conference loss. I guess we are worse than we thought.
They in opposite divisions any way, would do absolutely nothing for us.

A loss to fsu has no effect on us in the coastal.

edit: UMMMM I DIDNT EXPLAIN THIS VERY WELL. AND I'VE BEEN CALLED OUT ON IT. I'M AN IDIOT. I'LL BE BACK BETTER NEXT WEEK

Are you kidding me? ALL CONFERENCE GAMES count in division rankings. You don't just base the division standings on 6 games, you base it on EIGHT GAMES.

Every conference game counts. A loss to F$U will ABSOLUTELY have an impact on us in the Coastal.

Can you just delete the "Saks" part of your screen name?

How so if we run the coastal??? Yes it matters if we can't handle our division.

If we run the Coastal, and lose our 2 cross-division games to F$U and Louisville, then we will have a 5-3 division record.

****, just pretend we went undefeated in the Coastal and lost the 2 Atlantic games every year, then every year we would be 6-2 in the conference. And any team who lost to us, who then won THE REST of their ACC games, would finish 7-1. Every year. So every year, we could beat the entire Coastal and still finish second. Do you understand math?

Why don't you just admit your mistake? You didn't say "if we run the Coastal", you said it would have "no effect". You were wrong. Just take the L and shut up.

I'll try better next time.

We cant get a freaking break at all this year but I'm sure this is one of many losses to come for UNC in ACC play and that rule is BS both teams play in the same conference and if they choose to play eachother it should count as a conference game just like Miami and FSU choose to play eachother in a rivalry game every year, F the ACC.
