Not earth shattering because he wasn't great, but he was their starting PG and leader in assists.

He's the first kid I ever remember seeing be a McDonald's All-American and laugh because it was lunacy. He's not, big, fast nor athletic and he's not a great shooter.

He's leaving because the freshman behind him is better.

He wasn't bad, he's a good steady ball handler who any team would like to have. From our standpoint we are loaded at that position right now and have no room for him but there are a bunch of teams in the past that I would have loved a kid like him on our team.

Manu abused him. He's a decent distributor. He's not a scorer. He was good protecting the ball during the regular season and then looked like a scared kid in the NCAA tourney against St. Louis, turning it over left and right. Lastly, I don't think anyone was advocating us going after him. This was more how it impacts an ACC opponent.

I'm sure he wouldn't be allowed to transfer to another ACC school, so it's irrelevant, but no, we don't need him.
