Amazing the trouble some people go to to trash this program. Does Mario make mistakes, yes. Have there been questionable play calls, this year last year and the year before, of course. Nobody is excusing it.

But we have glue sniffers jumping in and reminding us of every single bad thing that’s happened. We’re fans. We follow the team. We know what’s happened. This is a thread about trashing another program, not our own.

Soooo what am I supposed to do. Stick my head in the sand and ignore patterns over 5 years. While yall were celebrating our playoff run I couldn’t help but be troubled by how bad Dawson is. Why?? Because bad OCs choke away games!! Lo and behold the second half of yesterday’s game .He did EXACTLY like he was doing last year. But you want me to be quiet and support the team. WRONG!!

No one - and I mean no one - is defending Mario for that GD stupid call against GT. No one. At the same time, if you can’t recognize that our GT debacle required a failed booth review and then a couple of plays from GT to move the ball down the field (multiple events had to occur consecutively and over the course of several snaps) while the NC State debacle involved one, and only one, non-executed play that literally turned a W into an L instantaneously, then you simply don’t get it.

There are some people in life that get defensive and attacking whenever they are criticized or questioned. They remain stubborn in their takes regardless of how wrong they are instead of just amending them and admitting they misread the situation. They will point to the times they were right and deflect from the current discussion.

I agree. I'm no different. I said Lowe would be our best DE this year and look how that turned out. I also though CWH would be an amazing RB for us. I decided to give up on my scouting. LOL
