OP, what are you talking about? Is their opener against Wake on 9/19 rescheduled also? Midlo is correct, they weren't scheduled to play until 9/26.
They open with Wake on 9/19.
 
Like clockwork, the Covid fairies with their hundreds-of-college-football-players-will-die delusions, will chime in and continue to cheer for the football season to be cancelled.

Like the non-hysterical men that post here have stated, as long as the schools and powers-that-be remain flexible and unwilling to succumb to hysterics, and hypocritical optics, we can and will have a season.

ACC Unveils 2020 Football Schedule

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2020 football schedule on Thursday. If public health guidance allows, the schedule will begin Thursday, Sept. 10. All 15 conference schools will play an 11-game schedule, with 10 games against ACC opponents and one versus a non-conference program.

Don't what to miss the chance to agree with you. I'll and that I think the normal flu got declared yesterday as the new monster in the night by media. I think measles is warming up.

So if I was playing on Dline this year, I think I would sneeze in the face of the lineman across from me at the snap just to see if he forgot about blocking me. Then wipe my mouth and nose as I headed for the QB. Wonder if that would be a penalty? What am I thinking, I would only be a Cane so of course it would.

My daughter and I visited Virginia Tech yesterday as a campus visit. Virginia is now 9/19; NCSU is 9/26; WF is 10/24. They still have not let students or season ticket holders know what the attendance policy is going to be as of yesterday.

Her friends are expecting to get kicked off campus in 6 weeks. That is the cutoff on full tuition and housing. It would be insane because it is pretty draconian in their freshmen dorms.

Point me in the direction of those saying hundreds of football players are going to die. Heck, point me in the direction of someone even saying a dozen or half of a dozen.

The point, has been for quite a while now, to stop the spread so those that are vulnerable to serious complications or even death. Some of which would be coaches, their families, support staff, professors, etc.

Talk about hysterical, your post is exactly that, but genuinely dismissive of what has been a serious problem in this country.

If delusional ninnies like you can’t understand the difference between college athletes being cared for in a less than perfect bubble, as opposed to being let loose onto the community to have a greater chance to catch it and also come in contact with way more people, including more vulnerable older adults, (as well as their own relatives)...then you really are as stupid as most of your posts.....and you clearly are sporting an extra large agenda.

So let me get this straight. They're locking them down even more than they already are, but that's wrong.

Point me in the direction that they're setting them loose to make their way through society. Good luck, you'll have as much of it as you did with your claim of hundreds of collegiate athletes dead.
