If he is setting the tone for the team in practice, he should be a team captain. Promote based on merit, not time in service.

Fair point. I guess its one of those things where the coaches kinda wanna spread the wealth a bit.

I'd have to check but it seems that Matt Lee has been a Captain for almost every game. Interestingly, if I had to choose one kid for Team MVP (season-to-date), I'd probably have to make a tough decision between Matt Lee and Rueben Bain.
