Navaughn Donaldson

Or maybe he came to a program with no strength and conditioning program was forced to play tackle switched to guard then back to tackle and then guard again. Had the worst OL technical coach ever is Searles and played in a prehistoric offensive system where the defense has a huge advantage built in because of our ineptitude?

All that is true, but then why doesn't your argument apply to Gaynor & Scaife who are both outplaying him at this stage?

Because they are better suited to this crappy scheme possibly? Or maybe they have had some favorable matchups...I don’t know because to be honest I don’t know much about the nuances of Ol technique.

What I do know is that with the possible exception of FSU, Miami has had the worst OL in power 5 football. Why? Combination of poor evaluations, poor recruiting, poor teaching, poor nutrition and weight training (although I like feely), antique scheme, unimaginative playcalling....we have a real coaching problem in Miami.

Heard from inside source Donaldson has an under the table agreement with the hydration specialist to replace his h2O with bacon grease during games.

Brandon Washington was notoriously lazy during his tenure at UM and this guy might be even worse (and he is blessed with better athletic traits than B-Wash). Shame

You may be right, I’m just saying it’s typical Miami over the past two decades. Kid come in here highly rated, everyone in America wants them and they underperform. Yet other highly rated south FLORIDA kids go elsewhere and they get to the league!

BINGO.

And i am iffy on a lot of pff stats but they felt donaldson played well. They had hall 2nd and rousseau 1st.
3. OL NAVAUGHN DONALDSON - 81.8 GRADE

Donaldson earned the top overall grade on the offensive side of the ball. PFF was impressed with his run blocking during the game as he earned a 85.3 grade in that phase. According to PFF, Donaldson did allow one sack.

I respect PFF more than most people.

However, I question how any offensive lineman can receive an EIGHTY FIVE POINT THREE grade for run blocking on a team that ran the ball 34 times for 51 yards...thats a 1.5 clip...I'm not sure those numbers add up and I'd like for PFF to show their work on this one.

But the kid has been pretty solid during his time overall here.

When will the dyck sucking star whores learn..that stars don't matter??? Dude was a borderline 5 star recruit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fu*kin clowns
Yea you are dumb. Do you still believe this cause Ed Reed was a two star and Ray Lewis has no other offers?

Should be playing OG only.
The NFL scouts know this.
He'll be a steal for some team with an actual OL coach.

Coaching coaching coaching...dude got better coaching in high school & we know high school coaching sucks in sofla..

People think just because he got beat on a few plays he had a horrible day. Could he have played better? Absolutely everyone can. You expect more from your most experienced lineman but he wasn’t terrible. The best guy we got though is scaife imo

No. I believe this because Wisconsin, BC, & Iowa have offensive lines that are LITTERED with 2 star recruits, but yet still manage to field some of the best units yr in and yr out. Why is that..since according to dyck suckers like yourself, recruiting rankings are everything?? :6fps6:

The OL is an utter disgrace, we were physically dominated by Central Michigan, those guys should be embarrassed to show their faces on campus this week.

There is another thread about Jeff Thomas, I was about to say something there. Kid doesn’t look the same. One would have thought he would be killing it on special teams and wr, I get it that jarren is missing him as the we, but man his punt and kick returns live a lot to be desired!
JT has never shown the instincts that you need in the return game.

WTF have they ever won? BC hasn’t won over 7 games since Flutie. Iowa is a perennial 8 win team. You’re happy with that? Also look at their lines. They are all upperclassmen. They have a system that’s been in place that takes years. Once they play a superior team they lack talent with their 2-3 stars and get blown out every single year by OSU in the Big 10 championship. Can’t teach dumb I guess.

The pt of what I was saying that you missed, was not that we should only recruit 2 & 3 star players. It was that talent evaluations & assessments matter more than recruiting rankings & stars, much more in fact. Fans like yourself assumed just because Navaughn was a high 4 star recruit, that he would automatically become one of the greatest o-linemen in school history. It just doesn't work like that
