Navaughn Donaldson Under Armour AA game highlights

Lol at this thread...

I'd like Herbert too...But he's 2-3 years away from playing.

Donaldson is our future LT or RT, just not next year (possibly right, but we have so many guys for RT). Is RT maybe more likely? Yes

As for yesterday, he was fine...He himself in a pre game interview said he he has put on bad weight since his season ended. Get him ready for next season and he is insta top 7 and may even be a starting guard.

We are also still recruiting Bateman who is a LT prospect and Hillery is definitely a T prospect.

We gonna need to train the players on the team to be better instead of relying on True FR.

Exactly.... Players do develop, guys that struggled this year will be better next year, if Donaldson is ready start great but this idea that we always need a true freshman to start immediately is some dumb shxt. This board says the same shx when bringing up the cb commits.

It's a dumb statement to make period. True freshman start everywhere in the country... **** 3 of the 4 playoff teams including bama each had a true freshman starting on the offensive line... you play the best players period no matter the classification. Our best players on the dline linebacker and receiver were true freshman because they were that talented

i always looked at him as a RT. Hes the level of Darling was coming in..with better feet. He'll be ok...Hes going to get reps next year no doubt

I'm referring to this panicky bs believing we need commits that are ready to start day one at those positions, assuming to know which ones are and aren't. My point is we will have players that are already on the roster better than they were this year ready to compete for a starting spot too.

I like this big dude as an inside mauler. Looks a little top heavy and wobbly to me. Needs to lose weight and strengthen his legs and work on his flexibility. He's a work in progress. I don't see this instant plug and play Tackle.

LT McDermott Brown T Johnson
LG Darling Gaynor
C Gauthier Linder Milo
RG Donaldson Dykstra
RT St Louis Odogwu Hillery

Still no depth or LT but the lineup looks better than last year

Flip Brown and KC and i am guessing that will be the Line.

****!!

I'm not sure why so many people are sleeping on Brown. Legit talent, and he's had a whole year to focus on the job he wants. He should be hungry. And he is definitely a LT prospect. I'm not sure Donaldson will start from day one, but if so, he and Darling should be able to open plenty of holes inside.

Donaldson doesnt redshirt. Thats all we essentially need...QUALITY DEPTH. He's a guy that can push our RT or RG for PT ...RIGHT AWAY.

I would like to add Slaton...and that would be a BEASTLY ol haul...It would also be a haul that flips the 2nd and 3rd teamers as those guys that dont show up will be jump early and open up schollies. Guys like Jahair Jones, etc will need to start showing significant progress in the spring just to remain here.

can't help but think if we had a decent OL and not so many unknowns coming into 2017, Kaaya may have had more to think about before declaring for the draft....but if he's gonna take hits, he might as well get paid for it - don't blame him at all.

Some of you guys have a fantasy player in your head that will never materialize. I don't know how you can watch this guy and not feel excited about him being on our team. He's pushing guys around, moving well. All that while he's a little over weight. I see a guy that is going to be an absolute Beast on our line. I'm happy he's enrolling early so we can make him even better by time the season starts. I'm not worrying about who we don't have. I'll roll with who's with us. I trust this coaching staff 100%. @Mico, If we don't get Slaton, Herbert or Telfert how can it be a massive fail when you criticize Donaldson and he's better than all three? I don't understand your logic.

People love to complain. Donaldson is by far the best lineman in south Florida with the highest upside

Yea Navaughn's not a LT....he's stiff in those highlights

I don't know how this LT talk started but it's nonsense. He's nowhere near tackle ready (L or R). He starts inside and maybe in a year or two, moves to RT.

Kid looks like he gained 50+lbs in the last month...the difference between the pic of him in the UM locker room on his visit compared to what he looked like in the UA game is crazy. College nutritional and conditioning program are gonna be huge for this kid.

if he is an EE, he will be going to mat drills and s&c within a month. he will be in good shape by start of season.

Before this game, Donaldson and Miami Central had not practiced or played a game since October 14th. This was very rare for them as they are usually playing well into December. I'm sure the kid was not in the best of shape and a little rusty that game but I saw nothing alarming about his play on Sunday. He will be playing tackle for UM, there is no doubt in my mind. I also think he is ahead of where Darling was skill wise coming out of High School.

Have heard Pete say the Cook Jr wants to blaze his own path and that UM has a legit shot. But, now i hear the kid saying things make it seem like he's very firm to FSU... You have any insight as to our chances here?

Can't compete with their new rich bagman Dalvin. His big bro will have him "blazing" a trail to the nearest ATM wit da quickness...

If he does show any interest it's to troll us and spook Lingard to hurt our rb recruiting. Keep in mind that Lingard was a heavy nole lean until James committed.....
