Disclaimer: Only have watched 2 1/2 quarters after doing the family holiday thing last night, but the big guy caved in the Blue Devil interior a few times and even climbed to the second level to pick off a LB on at least one ocassion. Yes, it was Duke, but Donaldson, hopefully in increasing doses is just what the doctor ordered for an o-line that has progressed from historically bad a year ago to average or possibly above average with #55. Having a physical interior presence will bring balance to this offense and could cause it to be nearly unstoppable. No more pass-to-run; a sound running game will REALLY open up the playbook for Lashlee & King. Donaldson played 27 (?) snaps, and as others noted was PFF's highest rated o-lineman last night. Would love to see those reps increase to around 40 against the Heels.

Only thing that I still question is if he will be able to handle any stunts. I didnt see Duke run really any stunts at all but that has been what killed Scaife in previous games.

Eat less, play more, make more.
His money position is at G. Period. He’s made it back this far after a huge knee injury. If he can keep that same mindset/momentum and partner with Feeley in the off-season & spring to become the best version of himself ever, he could be in position to benefit nicely come draft day in 2022.

He is an all american caliber player. He just has to want it enough to stay away from spending $20 on the dollar menu at McDonalds.
