Kirby coordinated defenses tho so at worst hes got one side of th ball that he can take over if it flops in a game or season. it also allows you withstand losses (Mel tucker leaving) in coaching. the O always held them back. **** they made fields look like a bum. its hard to hit on all your coordinator hires every single time someone leaves to be successful. Mario also has to take a step back in terms of his vision in what he thinks winning looks like. that old school way doesn't work anymore with todays rules in todays game

Good coaching & development but there has been a mini-era of Bama, Georgia, and Ohio State having an outlier level of recruiting advantage.

Georgia has more 5* on their current roster than all the rosters in the Pac 12 combined.

He's had his corch moments tho at UGA and he's never done anything on defense without elite talent so my point still stands.

I mean the fact that TCU are the runners up goes to show that the offense allows teams with less talent out perform teams with more talent (like vs Michigan).

BUT Georgia is way too talented compared to TCU. Difference in talent from TCU and Michigan is probably the same as the difference between Michigan and Georgia. TCU never had a chance in this game

the point he thought he was making never landed. they got to the ******* CFP final w a team that has nowhere near the talent anyone in the top 15 have and a team that was sub 500 for the better part of the last 4 years. coaching got them to what we wish we could get back to

I would like to mention when ppl say Mallory is elite & I laugh at it, this is one of the reasons why. I’ve seen elite TEs at Miami, I’ve now seen elite TEs at other programs. Bowers is elite, bruh. He stretches the field, can be flexed like a WR, and have the ability to run every route tree, WHILE being an effective blocker.

& I’m looking at a guy named LADD MCCONKEY that sounds racist af looking fast af!

bowers was elite from day 1. they run on reverses and hand offs back there.
