Natty Thread TCU vs. UGA

Well, then we should probably aim for looking more like TCU but with better athletes. Miami didn't become a dominant program in the 80s and 90s by trying to recruit and play like a SEC team.
No. We should aim to be Bama, UGA..there’s no reason it can’t be done at Miami if we are invested at a similar level as the big boys. UGA&Bama is what Miami used to be

But TCU just proved you can make it to the national championship game with mostly 2,3, and a handful of 4 star players.

Sure. If the only recruiting powers you play during the regular season are down.

And the team you get in the playoffs is outside of the Top 10 in recruiting, plays a style of offense that artificially keeps the game close and you get an insane amount of turnover luck in the game.

And you only need to pull off one upset in the playoffs to get to the NC.

The problem with the playoffs expanding is there’s going to be even more recruiting powers in the playoffs every year. One upset won’t be enough.

Yeah, I don't get why we should try to be the little private school that tricks its way into some wins. We have the resources and the history to be dominant.

Hahahah. Yes Bennet is good. Please. Put him on Virginia Tech and we will see how good he is.
He is a product of the talent around him.
There is no doubt he benefits from the talent around him but people made him out to be this pedestrian QB but he keeps making plays. He isn’t just chucking it up to his WRs, he makes plays under pressure. Time and time again. This isn’t the Bama QB of the 2010s, or some of those LSU QBs before Burrow. **** he looks better than Fromm.

With our talent, I’m talking 22 class, we have the tools to have a unique offense, just need a creative mind to put it together. Top shelf OL, with elite speed in CJ who is versatile, Fletcher who is a physical runner but can also catch the ball. Then you have roadrunners in Robbie and Ray Ray. We are missing that outside guy but put into the right positions, you can do damage with that.
Sounds like Miami 2008 again 😂 baby canes. But fr winning programs aren’t overly reliant on 17/18 Freshman man..there’s an adjustment those kids have to go through

And it's looking like they are about to get prison ****ed on live tv. No Vasoline

UGA is simply on another level right now. It happens from time to time in cfb, where a team is just a steamroller. Clemson blew out Bama 44-16 a couple years ago and I don't recall anyone saying Bama lacked the talent to compete.

People sleep on him and this offense. People think this is three yards and void of dust but they spread the field and out there athletes in position. Constant motion , misdirection , zone reads, rpo’s and constant pressure on all three levels.
People act like it’s still the Chaney offense over there.

That Bama team was loaded too…. Najee, Josh Jacobs and I believe Damian Harris as well at RB. Then the WRs and Tua.
