College football impatience index: The clock is ticking on these teams in 2025

CFP aspirations. Major investments. Too many losses. Fans are never patient, but these teams' might have a right.

Good article overall from Rittenberg, briefly highlighting our lack of financial commitment as a firm reason we fell behind the eight ball pre-Mario, before rolling it into the present day returns. Here’s the quick Miami blurb.

Also thought he was quite fair with a majority of teams, including FSU, USC, Penn State, LSU, Auburn and Wisconsin. All facing massive pressure to succeed in 2025.

It’s now or never for Mario

He has had 4 years to implement a culture and build up the talent (which is what he’s heralded for)

It we can’t win the ACC or make a 12 team playoff then he’s probably not worth the big bucks

Especially since we’re still losing the Jeremiah Smith and Derrick Coopers of the world from South Florida

smh. He's not even getting the big bucks lol. 12 teams make the CFP yet He's not a top 15 paid coach...
And the now or never thing doesn't make any sense lol. Why couldn't it be next year? lol.

I mean we should/need to make the CFP this year. But if we don't it doesn't mean we wont next year with a different team. Never really get why people say that....

I think if we go 10-2 and miss the playoff again, it’s not time to fire Mario. Back to back 10 win season is just more proof that he’s doing a good job and there’s no point in starting over. He’s got his downfalls but I’m a believer no one wants it more than Mario. So unless you’re bringing in Urban Meyer level production don’t fire Mario

no one will ever keep all those kids in Miami. I don't care who is the coach. The fan base needs to understand these kids KNOW there is a big world out there and they want to see it.

Not only that they should’ve ran the ball more. Syracuse had just given up a bunch of yards to bc rushing. Martinez averaged like 8 yards a carry but only had 10 carries. He probably could’ve had 200 that game

Have you seen next years schedule? It's very difficult.
