Just Saw Northwestern isn’t bringing back the interim coach next year after he led them to the state final game. Teddy B coming back since his suspension should be over?

Thad Lewis is cool as ****. Was neighbors with my cousins when he was playing in Buffalo. I won’t be shocked to see him as an OC in 2 years

Evokes memories of one of my Maryland to Miami all-nighter drives, before satellite radio. The 6 hours it took driving through the Carolinas it was Country Music stations or listening to local HS football games throughout the region. In both Carolinas they had state-wide radio shows where people called in from games to give updates. It was actually entertaining. Even picked up a Cincinnati station in North Carolina and they were doing sports talk hosted by Bob Trumpy.
It made my drive easier.

I'm a late 80's early 90's ga high school kid. When did Gainesville become like this? My son had a travel basketball tournament there a couple of years back and I was shocked at the amenities. I felt like I was on a small college campus.

I moved to the area about 6 years ago, so it had already grown a ton from my understanding. but they’ve poured a ton of money into it even since then, idk when you were there but they opened a massive new building about 2 years ago. All of the schools north of the city are pretty insane, but Gainesville/Oakwood/Flowery Branch in particular has been growing like crazy.

Gainesville has always been a good program in Georgia. Even though they only have one state title (2012), they're one of the oldest high school football programs in the state and have the third most wins in state history behind Valdosta and LaGrange.

I never knew that. I never really heard of them. I went to high school in the city of Lagrange (crosstown rival Troup). Were they a smaller school back then?

I see why I really didn't know anything about them. I looked at their record and from the late 80's to late 90's they sucked.
