I thought I was the only one who followed highschool football like this . The issue if Carrollton losses they’re not going to jump Buford from 5 to 1 . That’s only Cali teams who they do that for . You keep up with other states or just yours ?
Ill follow fla a little bit. Im originally from winter haven. So ill check it. Seen Lakeland lost in states..

But also. I agree with the leap frog. Hard to jump 4 spots like that

Shelby's always good.

I don't know what goes on in Cleveland County, but between them and Crest (and sometimes King's Mountain), they're good at football.
The split from 1A-4A to 1A-8A has really helped schools like Crest who hovered around that 3A to low 4A population. Now they avoid the big Charlotte schools and smaller Shelby and if they were to get to a title, schools like Tarboro, who I just found out dropped down to 2A.

The 5A bracket that Crest one was IMO the weakest field in the entire state.

I follow high school football a bunch, but it's mostly Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. I should have posted in here more often though.
