Coleman looked like he died on that last play. Poor kid needs a redshirt year to add some mass to his frame.

Minus a couple match-ups, not a lot of great football games were played during this championship IMO.

MNW coaching sunk em in the game...they didnt take raines seriously t all cause they beat em last year

They also don't play anybody in the playoffs. (much like STA)
Put these privates in their own **** and let's really see who can coach. Heritage and Chaminade likely get eliminated (this year) and we end up with an awesome Newman/STA match-up in the title game.
But beating up on teams like Plantation and an Choctawhatchee (whoever the **** that is) doesn't say much about your coaching prowess, especially when you have blatant talent advantage over all those teams.
They didnt just lose, the coaches absolutely choked for those kids @TheRealCane has better explanation of them being up 8 and intentionally taking safety to set up this hail mary

There was about 20+ seconds left in the game and it was pouring rain. Coach tried to outsmart everyone and take a safety, while also running off 10-12 seconds. The kickoff was a squib kick, for some reason, which gave Lake Mary decent field position. Then that play happened.
Talk about a bad beat.. this one hurt
As usual, the state of Alabama doesn't have the deep depth like other states, but there will be some ballers coming out this year. Everyone knows Morgan, jones, crowell, etc, but a couple of years from now folks are going to wonder how in the world did miss state snag Zion Crumpton. That kid is dynamic.
That’s true but, they had a ton of other injuries like. Bueno, Bennett and many others plus they had the toughest schedule in the nation-I know Strawder won at the West but, sometimes it’s not that easy.
You have to give Smith some props.
