2025 National High School Football 2025 Season

Was at the West Boca/Delray Beach Atlantic game-Won by West Boca 31-14-

Mallory had 3 td’s one a 65 run to the house -He showed some speed for a guy his size -

DT Jamar Thompson was a Jr. -He’s got the goods to make an impact on the next level

Went to the Chaminade/STA game-27-21 STA came away with the win-

Jason Lopez very impressive great hands, great route runner,good speed-

Derek Cooper-he looked good but, STA did a real good job on him-

Fr QB Malik Leonard very accurate, he’s only 14 years old-he had 2 picks and a fumble-You can see his potential-

Wyatt Smith DE-Best player on the field-He was all over the field-Game wrecker

Justice Fitzpatrick-Great game. Performed well at WR and DB-Had a pick and tackles well

Julius Jones Jr.-Outstanding WR-Speed, hands and route running-

Mater Dei came back from being 3 td’s down to upset #1 St.John Bosco 36-31-

WR Chris Henry had over 200 yards in receiving yards, 3 scores-

He looked like the #1 WR in nation last night-Bosco has an elite secondary.

Thanks man. He’s getting there. He knows he needs to get stronger and be more consistent in technique. He’s a grinder though.
 
Next year -There will be an open division-The top ranked 8 teams in the state will battle it out for the state title in the open division.

It could be Northwestern, Central, STA, Chaminade,Venice, Edgewater, Armwood and Heritage,Lakeland and a few others could be in top 8.

They will still have the classification state championships 1A,2A,3A,4A,5A,6A and 7A-

There doing this because of the South Florida dominance the last several years-

South Florida will still dominate-Unless some central,north or west coast Florida team crashes the party.
 
Can someone explain the new classifications and FHSAA and SSAA to me like I’m 5? I played at American Heirtgae BD back in 2011 when we won states. It was very straight forward with the 1a -7a. Just saw they are in the state championship next week but I can’t for the life of me understand what all the divisions and stuff is. I’d imagine small schools broke away even further. But even school is from 10 years ago look to be in completely different classes. Is it not only based on school size too?

still school size.

Gentrification and movement has taken place.
for example you know MNW and Miami Central were the big classes of 6a....now due to the movement they are now 3a.
so their playoffs is usually just that game when they match up vs one another cause no oher team in 3a throughout the state has a reals hot ot beat them...lol

they both won like 70-0 or some sh*t this week in the first round. Beating somerset and st brendan.

next week will be key west and lely. probably tougher games where they win 55-10 or something like it lol

schools like chaminade still remain in small classes...which i believe u guys may have been in...so they play no one in the playoffs. lol

Heritage vs McCarthy another interesting game-McCarthy has to be the surprise of the year-
Tough class with Tampa Jesuit or Orlando Jones-Jesuit has the QB UF commit Will Griffin-Jones has UM Commit Coleman-

Whoever wins the Northwestern vs Central will win 3A class-

Chaminade vs True North 1A -Tru North is coming but, Chaminade will prevail

heritage isnt good as they usuallya re but theyw ill beat mcarthy by a good bit.

norland just sucks and are overratted and dont have the typical horses up front they had the last 2 years.

Ill be at mca vs sta we lost to them already but third rd playoffs for us n finally beating atlantic in the playoffs is big we been trying to get over that hump since 03.

In Cali, Mater Dei got knocked off. Their coach has been a disappointment. Bosco took an L to Orange Lutheran.. I know it won't change but wish these parents would finally see you do not need to be at those two schools get recruited or play big time football.

Up north De La Salle won their 33rd section title beating Pittsburg High(Rashada old school) 24-17... Think that door is gonna be kicked down on them very soon

Riordan in SF won their section title finishing off an undefeated season, we were recruiting one of their OL earlier this summer. I think they will be a factor in the Bay Area going forward for many reasons
 
Saw Miami offered a couple East St Louis 2027 dbs this week. ESTL playing in their 6th straight state title game next weekend, haven’t given up more than 14 points against IL teams.
 
Didn’t really know the most appropriate place to post this but in the Minnesota 6A football championship - Edina won. They are a hockey perennial powerhouse in the nation.

Here is the crazy part - the goalie on the hockey team (Chase Bjorgaard) is the RB and piled up 6 TD, 320 yards rushing in the championship game. ALSO - the 6’5 QB Mason West was just drafted in the first round to the Chicago Blackhawks. He has 2388 passing yards and 28 TDs this season. He is going hockey.
