Orange Lutheran 17 Northwestern 13

Safe to say The Trinity league in SoCal is the best HS league in the country-

Larry Blustein said NW is 14 points better than any South Florida team yet they lose to Orange Lutheran -SJB and Mater Dei are the best in the league-

Not a good showing for South Florida besides the incredible win against St.Joes by AH Plantation-

SFA is kicking the crap out of Chaminade.

The quality of coaches across the state has really dropped. If you are decent coach, you can jump across the state line and make more as a position coach than a HC.

The state has to figure something out for compensation.

the quality of coach aint making a 5'8 kid cover Chris Henry.

STA has 500 coaches with 100 Of them being former nfl guys or high div 1 guys. I know my cousin is the lb coach lmaoo.

These are mismatch games regardless..i said once i saw the matchups i expected all loses in the broward showcases. AH came back for the W

Chaminade, AH, STA are power house programs for sure but their are levels to it....This is south florida these power house teams are all splitting kids they are all under 5miles from each other....with other play off teams within 3 miles of them as well.

**** YEA WE SHOULD BE IN THERE EVERY YEAR.....I HAVE NO CLUE WHY WE ARENT A FORCE IN THE DMV AS THOSE KIDS WOULD COME HERE.

MARYLAND cant keep all of em home....its why penn state and even south carolina has eaten there.....why not us?. va tech made a killing there for years....

I dont believe this to be true though i like them. some big rivalry games they gonna have to show up n play.


all the privates in broward play again this year in ah, chaminade, sta which is good.

I think Trinity League is the best league the last 2 years or so.

NW playing Lutheran close is good.

With STA they seem to have lost that National power luster.

And STA made a game of it. But then when you see some of the other staff’s they just try to Jimmy and Joe you to win.

I can’t speak for STA but I know of a lot of other powerhouse staffs in South Florida who aren’t working off advances scouting reports, tendency charts, ex…the basic things a coach should do.

chaminade isnt. I coached with their oc so i know what he does.

They call him the "goat" oc currently and he isnt doing any of what you named which is hilarious....kind of hard to look bad with with elite level athletes. lol

@Coach Macho would tell you...majority of these guys arent out coaching anything.

STA you can tell...when they put up the espn 300 kids in the game vs mater dei only had 1 who was Justice Fitzpatrick who wasnt even playing.

sta has a ton of div 1 kids just more so lower level as compared to when they would have a minimum of 5 in the top 300.

They are going from OJ Frederique and Rod Mack to Jeremiyah Douglas (who didnt look all that bad)


compared to OJ frederique who stepped day 1 here and looked like a ready made all american.

mnw lost 3 local games last year down here...even though they won states.

They are supposed to be better this year though. Their playcaller is in Tampa Bay trying to make a 53 man roster.

Thats a good score for them against Orange Lutheran.

Mater Dei might have done em worse..but then again mater dei had 5000 penalties.....lol

Good showing by the cali squads.....

in these national games i have no clue how teams like Manatee, West Broward, Piper, Santaluces got these games these arent teams in the top 50 in fla smh.
