National Championship Tickets

Right.

I've made thousands of dollars of donations since the 1990s, I've lost money on tickets in the years before "the secondary market", and now I should offer someone "face value" for the most in-demand single game in decades just because they wanted to live that "StubHub Life", yo?

No.
And if you sold at face value they would most likely sell it on stub hub and make the profit themselves.

Then they need to be prepared to pay a premium.

If you don't commit to Hurricane Club and/or season tickets, then you MIGHT have to pay through the nose when we make the national championship game AT HOME.

That's the gamble people make.

I’m in Richmond so it doesn’t make sense for me to have season tickets as of now. Kids take up most fall weekends. Now in 1-2 years, I hope to do both.

I’m also willing to pay for seats. Paid $500 for cotton bowl 50 yard line 20 rows back. If the tickets keep dropping, I’ll be there. Likely will be there either way.

The funny thing is many included myself have offered to pay our fan base market value so we don’t sell it to the opposing fan base. I haven’t got one DM so I’m hoping that’s an indication that nobody is selling.

I'm in Atlanta.

Sorry if this has been answered but for those who got their tickets by being season ticket holders or club members, how much was each ticket? Thanks

Depends on what section you got. $1,400 was the highest, which covered Section 117 and less than half of Section 118. $475 was the lowest, which was upper deck end zone.

I don't think many people are willing to make a $3,000-per-ticket transaction on a message board. Way too many things could go wrong.

You can choose to believe Pete Thamel. Or you can listen to people who actually know things.

The gray seats were sold to (A) local South Florida folks who bought them in packages along with the Orange Bowl game, (B) corporate sponsors, or (C) VIPs. Most of these people will favor Miami.

Miami fans are being allocated the red. Indiana fans are being allocated the blue.

Barring any massive sale of Miami (red) tix on StubHub, Miami fans should outnumber Indiana fans at the game, probably 60-40.

With the current $3000 to $5000 ticket prices on Ticketmaster and Stubhub, will the Hurricane Club members ticket prices be the same? I received the email from Hurricane Club, my date and time frame to request tickets. I doubt I will be able to be able to purchase a ticket since I am not a high level Hurricane Club donor. But, if I am fortunate enough to be able to purchase, will Hurricane Club prices also be $3000 to $5000? If so, I won't be able to afford those prices.

I guarantee that the tickets available on Tuesday will be $475.
