My wife and I had a talk over coffee (no kids awake) this morning. She wants to go tailgate & have a great time but not go in the game. So we reached out to close friends & they are going down with us. Setup the tent, tv, food spread & enjoy life.. then LAMP goes into the game while they sit out in the parking lot (buddy is a cop) and 3 of them watch on big tv on my tailgate. Cheap, fun & don’t have to drive solo. Great compromise, her idea!

I obviously haven’t really talked about this too much on the board, but I was pretty much bedridden from 2019-2024 because I had major complications from having my son and almost died (several times). The fact that we are getting three days away just us, and it’s to see the Canes in the ‘ship is the most incredible thing ever.

Wifey and I secured our RSVP’s back in August because we are lunatics and thought we could go all the way. Amazing.

Cost for rsvp ended up being $225 each for lower bowl, and I just paid for my ticket allocations at $875 each.

Did anyone else do the RSVP? I’m not happy about the section allotted for lower bowl… wondering about parking pass. I kinda wanna go crazy in the orange lot.

Yes, unless they create special rules for this game. Typically you can just walk right into the parking lot.

Oregon fans sold their tickets since they weren’t gonna go all the way back across the country and Indiana fans bought them up.

Their alumni base is the largest in the country, relatively wealthy, and hyper motivated right now for obvious reasons.

They used their entire allotment and then bought up everything on the secondary market. Oregon fans don’t travel well to begin with and they weren’t about to travel all the way across the country a week after doing so for the Orange Bowl.

Ugh I miss the Lexus club tickets we used to have. That valet/black lot with the dedicated line right out of the stadium. I used to be on the turnpike from my seat in about 5 mins after games. What a perk that was

Agreed! I’m old enough to remember when the Ohio State fans joined the Hurricane Club & bought tickets to the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. Priority should be given to 2025 HC/ticket holders who renewed for 2026.

There are a ton in Davie right off the turnpike. Then it's a 20 minute drive in normal circumstances.

Will be more traffic this time. But that's where I'd stay.
