2 1000 yard season for fsu i believe. Maybe maxed out for nfl but for college? We dont play in the AFC bro this is college football.

Your post would've had some merit if you just mentioned Kaaya and Allison, but a completely obscure two-star QB like Shirreffs isn't enticing any WR recruit to come here. Recruits probably don't even know he exists. You won't mention Grier for UF or Francois for FSU, but you bring up Shirreffs? C'mon...

He wanted a redshirt to gain muscle and focus on playbook. Stated that before signing. Actually pretty smart considering how many QBs flame out after being thriwn to the wolves.

I mean Champ job and the team as a whole needed the best qb option... He has a stronger arm than Treon but I think that competition is closer than many people believe... I think UF will go in with two qbs this year... Splitting reps... I believe Spurrier and Bowden did at one point...

QB Will Grier: Grier has taken the small lead he had coming out of spring practice and widened the gap considerably. At this point, it'd be very surprising if he wasn't the starter on opening day. He has the ideal size and arm for the position and has been the most accurate quarterback making the most plays consistently throughout fall camp.

Remember Jeff Driskel was supposed to start the whole year last year and "improve." We all know how that turned out tho. Grier's plan from the start was to redshirt to gain muscle and grasp offense. Middle of the year he suffered a sports hernia (I believe) and was out for a good amount of time so when JD got benched Muscramp used Treon instead, who could also use run packages bc of his running ability. If Grier didn't get hurt the team probably would've burned his RS and played him (think he was healthy by the time JD got benched, but Treon had a lot more practice under his belt)
